MCPD Arrest Report 06/30/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 40 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/29/2017:



Aubaray A. White, 26 years of age, Address- Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 12:00 am.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine

   Aubaray White was transported from the Iberia Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6th Ward City Court. White was booked and incarcerated.


Blake M. Vidos, 26 years of age, Address- Karen Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 1:00 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Simple Assault

   Blake Vidos was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant held for the department. The warrant stems from an investigation in May of 2017, in which it is alleged that Vidos used racial slurs and made threats to do bodily harm to the victim.  Vidos was booked and incarcerated.


Christopher L. Martin, 30 years of age, Address- Second St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 2:56 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear for Drug Court (St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office)


   Christopher Martin was located by an officer in the area of LA 70 and Fig St. A warrant check was done Martin and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court. Martin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Luke L. Romero, 59 years of age, Address- Laurel St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 4:24 pm.

Charge:  Possession of Stolen Things under $500.00

                Criminal Trespass

                Theft under $750.00

    Officers responded to a residence on Laurel St. in regards to a disturbance. While officers were there, they noticed a boat trailer that had been reported stolen. Officers made contact with Luke Romero and asked about the boat trailer. According to reports, Romero admitted to taking the boat trailer from the yard of another residence. Romero was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Elnora R. Vallery, 62 years of age, Address-Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/29/2017 @ 6:07 pm.

Charge: Simply Battery

   Officers responded to a residence on Laurel St. in regards to a battery that had been committed on an individual.  According to reports, the victim stated that she and Elnora Vallery had gotten into a verbal altercation which later turned physical when Vallery struck her in the facial area. Officers did observe marks on the victim’s face. Officers located Vallery on Egle St. and reports indicate that she admitted to striking the victim. Vallery was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
