MCPD Arrest Report 07/03/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 122 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/30/2017:

Tamara L. Manning, 35 years of age, address: First St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/30/2017 @ 10:15 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/20/2017

Tamara L. Manning was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Manning was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Eddie T. Mayfield, 32 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/30/2017 @ 10:19 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee on 03/07/2017
                 Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/20/2017

Eddie T. Mayfield was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Mayfield was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

John K. Buck Jr., 30 years of age, address: Ricohoc Dr. Franklin, La., arrested on 06/30/2017 @ 9:30 a.m.

Charges: Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information

Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports came in contact which a subject eventually identified as John K. Buck. Reports indicate that during the investigation Buck provided officers with a false name. After he was identified Buck was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Hector Perez, 19 years of age, address: Palm St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 12:12 a.m.

                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Troy M. Aucoin, 17 years of age, address: Guidry St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 12:12 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
                 Illegal Use of CDS in the Presence of Juveniles
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Skyla R. Crochet, 22 years of age, address: Palm St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 12:12 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
                 Illegal Use of CDS in the Presence of Juveniles
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a vehicle in the area Shaw Dr. negotiate an improper turn. A stop was initiated and Hector Perez was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, when officers made contact with Perez he had suspected marijuana all over his shirt. Troy M. Aucoin and Skyla Crochet were also identified as passengers in the vehicle along with 2 juveniles. Reports indicate that officers observed suspected marijuana on the shirt and pants of Aucoin and Crochet. Officer located more suspected marijuana in the vehicle. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Perez, Aucoin, and Crochet were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Jessee Blakeman 07032017
Jessee Blakeman, 23 years of age, address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 8:52 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of a Legend Drug (Gabapentin)
                 Warrant: Possession of a Legend Drug (Risperidone)
                 Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 04/18/2017
                 Warrant: Fugitive from Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office

Jessee Blakemen was located and arrested in the area of Cypress St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police, 6th Ward Morgan City Court and Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office. The warrants from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on June 30, 2017, when officers responded to the area of Cypress St. in regard to a disturbance. Officers arrived and the suspect, identified as Jessee Blakeman, had already left the area. According to reports, Blakeman had left behind suspected Gabapentin, Risperidone that he did not have a prescription for and drug paraphernalia. Warrants were prepared for Blakeman’s arrest. Blakeman was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Karen Strathman, 47 years of age, address: Shady Grove Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 7:29 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 05/30/2017

Karen Strathman was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Strathman was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kari Warden, 31 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/01/2017 @ 9:22 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 05/10/2017

Kari Warden was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Warden was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Darell Gash 07032017
Darell Gash, 36 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 12:10 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Obstruction of Justice
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Darell Gash was identified as a passenger in that vehicle. According to reports, Gash was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Reports indicate that evidence was uncovered that Gash had ingested some of the marijuana when stopped by patrol officers in an attempt to destroy the evidence. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Gash was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Devin Trouilliet, 21 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 1:38 a.m.

Charges: Resisting an Officer
                 Battery on a Police Officer

Devin Trouillet was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in January of 2017 when officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers identified Devin Trouillet as the suspect in that disturbance. Reports indicate that Trouillet resisted and committed a battery on an officer. Warrants were prepared for Trouilliet’s arrest. Trouillet was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Larosia Washington 07032017
Larosia Washington, 62 years of age, address: Grace St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 3:47 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Cocaine)
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a suspicious subject. Officer arrived and observed a subject fitting the description provided. When the subject had seen officers he began to act suspiciously and discarded something onto the ground. The subject was identified as Larosia Washington. The item that Washington allegedly discarded of was drug paraphernalia. Reports indicate that Washington was found to be in possession of cocaine. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Washington was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Edward A. Gil, 39 years of age, address: Kimberly Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/02/2017 @ 10:27 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Improper Turning
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Railroad Ave. A stop was initiated and Edward A. Gil was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Gil was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Gil was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
