Arrest Report 02/19/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/18/2014:

 

Jermoud E. Watts, 23 years of age, Address-Abbeville, La. was arrested on 02/17/2014 @ 10:46pm

Charge: Warrant: Obscenity

Jermoud Watts was placed under arrest at the parish correctional center and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked on an outstanding warrant stemming from an alleged incident which occurred in October 2013.  Watts was accused of exposing himself to a female correctional officer during that incident.  He was booked and remains incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail facility. 

 

Clauderious Darby, 25 years of age, Address-Grace St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/18/2014 @ 1:37pm

Charge: Resisting an Officer; Possession of Marijuana 2nd; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

A patrolling officer observed a suspicious subject who appeared to be looking into vehicles located in a David Dr. parking lot.  The officer approached the subject to investigate.  The subject, later identified as Clauderious Darby fled from the officer.  Officers pursued the subject and located him.  As officers approached again, he attempted to flee from the officer at which time he deployed a Taser device.  The subject was detained and placed under arrest.  Darby was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana, a controlled dangerous substance and items of paraphernalia.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

Kathy E. Schaub, 32 years of age, Address-Patton St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/18/2014 @ 3:00pm

Charge: Contempt of Court

Kathy Schaub was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department and booked into the Morgan City Jail facility on an outstanding warrant. She was released after posting a cash bond.

 

Lisa C. Mclemore, 49 years of age, Address-Aucoin St. Amelia, La. was arrested on 02/18/2014 @ 4:55pm

Charge: Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated 2nd Offense; Child Passenger Restraint Violation; Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, Smoking Prohibited in a Vehicle in the Presence of a Child

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Highway 182 with a small child who was unrestrained. The driver was also observed smoking inside the vehicle with the child which is prohibited.  The officer stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Lisa Mclemore.  Mclemore exhibited signs of impairment and was given a field sobriety test which she did poorly on.  She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she submitted to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated a result of .182g%.  She was booked into the Morgan City Jail facility.  According to records, this was a second alleged offense for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.  She was charged accordingly.

 

Paul P. Guidry, 37 years of age, Address-Gen Patton Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/18/2014 @ 11:25pm

Charge: Warrant: Create or Operate a Clandestine Lab for the Unlawful Manufacture of CDS; Create or Operate a Clandestine Lab for the Unlawful Manufacture of CDS within 1000 feet of School Property

Paul Guidry was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant regarding the alleged production of methamphetamine, a controlled dangerous substance.  On February 14, 2014, investigators received a complaint of a lab used to make the illicit substance.  They identified Paul Guidry as the suspect and an arrest warrant was secured for his arrest.  He was booked into the Morgan City Jail facility where he remains incarcerated with no bond yet set.
