Alandrius White, 34 years of age, Address: Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/31/2017 @ 9:33am.

Charge:  Warrant - Distribution of Crack Cocaine

     Alandrius White turned himself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police.  The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Narcotics Detective of an incident on December 10, 2014 where White allegedly sold crack cocaine to an undercover police officer. White was booked into the Morgan City Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $100,000.00 bond.

Robert J Barrilleaux, 29 years of age, Address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/31/2017 @ 3:00pm.

Charge:  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Robert J Barrilleaux was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Barrilleaux was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Leeann N Jones, 30 years of age, Address: Azales Dr. Donner, La. was arrested on 01/31/2017 @ 5:37pm.

Charges:  Driving Under Suspension
                  Possession of Methamphetamine

     Morgan City Police Narcotics Detectives observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Eleventh Street near Railroad Avenue and that an occupant of the vehicle was not wearing a seat belt. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Leeann N Jones. A drivers license check revealed that Jones had a suspended drivers license. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that Jones' behavior aroused the investigators suspicions that she may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search was conducted when investigators located suspected methamphetamine on Jones' person. Jones was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Doneyda Canizales, 34 years of age, Address: Louisiana St. Morgan City, La. was arrested 01/31/2017 @ 5:46pm.

Charge:  No Drivers License

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Roderick Street W Glenwood Street.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Daneyda Canizales. A drivers license check revealed that Canizales did not have a valid driver license.  Canizales was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Paul M Daigle, 38 years of age, Address: Shaw Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/31/2017 @ 8:59pm.

     Paul M Daigle was located by officers on Shaw Drive where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial District Court. Daigle was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

                  Warrant - Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws

     Anthony J Harris was located by officers on Railroad Avenue near Ditch Avenue where he was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department.  The warrants were obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident on January 24, 2017 where Harris was alleged to be in possession of cocaine while in a drug free zone at a medical facility on La. 70. Harris was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dakota Dewitt, 31 years of age, Address: Myrtle St. Houma, La. was arrested on 01/27/2017 @ 8:25pm.

Charge:  Soliciting for Prostitutes

     Lorne C Brantley, David A Guidry and Dakota Dewitt were arrested at a local motel in Morgan City on charges of soliciting for prostitutes.  Morgan City Police Detectives conducting an ongoing investigation of on line soliciting and human trafficking identified Brantley, Guidry and Dewitt during an undercover operation.  According to reports,  Brantley, Guidry and Dewitt made contact with an undercover officer and later met with the undercover at the local motel for alleged prostitution activity.  Brantley, Guidry and Dewitt were transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Efrain M Zavala, 25 years of age, Address:  Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/27/2017 @ 5:03pm.

Charges:  Stop Sign Violation
                  Improper Turning
                  No Drivers License

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle fail to stop and use its turn signal as it traveled from Federal Avenue on to Levee Road. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Efrain M Zavala. A drivers license was conducted and it was learned that Zavala did not have a valid driver license according to reports. Zavala was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Manuel M Liviana, 43 years of age, Address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/27/2017 @ 8:15pm.

                  No Drivers License

     A patrolling officers observed a vehicle traveling on Federal Avenue with improper tail lights.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Manuel M Liviana. A drivers license check was conducted and it was learned that Liviana did not have a valid driver license according to reports. Liviana was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Quentin Businell was located by officers on Second Street near Everett Street where he was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Businelle was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Yordin O Suazo, 23 years of age, Address: Allison St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/28/2017 @ 9:17pm.

      A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Catherine Street and Justa Street.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Yordin O Suazo and passenger as Christian J Rivera. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that Suazo and Rivera's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected cocaine according to reports. A drivers license check revealed that Suazo did not have a valid driver license. Both Suazo and Rivera were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they was booked and incarcerated.

Jessica Daigle, 28 years of age, Address: Leona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/29/2017 @ 1:03am.

Charge:  Possession of Marijuana

          Officers responded to a local lounge on Hwy 182 in regard to a disturbance. The officers arrived when they identified Jessica Daigle who was identified as a participant in the alleged disturbance. During an investigation, reports indicate that Daigle's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that she may be involved in illegal drug activity.  A search was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana on Daigle. Daigle was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Areana C L Candanedo, 26 years of age, Address: Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/29/2017 @ 5:38pm.

Charges:  Possession of Methamphetamine
                  No Drivers License
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws (Drug Free Zone)

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Fourth Street being driven by a subject known to the officer as Areana C L Candanedo.  Reports indicated that the officer had knowledge that Candanedo did not have a valid driver license and a traffic stop was conducted. Candandedo was placed under arrest and a search conducted. During the search, reports indicate that the officer located suspected methamphetamine on Candanedo. Candanedo was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charles B Edward, 35 years of age, Address: Grace St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/29/2017 @ 9:09pm.

                 Driving Under Suspension

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Marguerite Street and Seventh Street.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Charles B Edward.  A drivers license check was conducted which revealed that Edward had a suspended drivers license according to reports.  Edward was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Kayla M Francise was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Francise was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Scott J Moffatt, 27 years of age, Address: Leona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/29/2017 @ 11:47pm.

Charges: Entry or Remaining on Premises After Forbidden
                 Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                 Resisting An Officer

     Officers responded to a local convenience store on Hwy 182 in regard to a subject refusing to leave the premises. The officers arrived and located a subject identified as Scott J Moffatt who matched the description provided.  During an investigation, officers were told by store employees that Moffatt had entered the store and began to cause a disturbance. Reports indicated that Moffatt was told several times by store employee to leave the store but that he refuse to do so. Officers suspected that Moffatt had been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated according to reports. Moffatt was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Sir Charles Evans, 38 years of age, Address- Oak St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/25/2017 @ 3:33 pm.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace- Use of Offensive Language

   Officers responded to a residence on Railroad Ave. in regard to a disturbance. According to reports, Sir Charles Evans had come to the residence yelling and using profanities. Officers located Evans, placed him under arrest and transported him to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Dwight J. Caton Jr., 35 years of age, Address- Union St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/25/2017 @ 8:00 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Failure to Pay Probation Fees
                Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines for Possession of Marijuana

   Officers located Dwight Caton in the area of Third and Union St. A warrants check was done on Caton and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Caton was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Anthony Watson, 42 years of age, Address- Victor II Blvd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/25/2017 @ 11:14 pm.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense
               Driving on Roadway Lane for Traffic

   A patrol officer in the area of LA 182 near Cottonwood St., observed a vehicle swerve and cross the center line. The vehicle also was observed hitting a curb, while turning onto Cottonwood St. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Antony Watson. While speaking to Watson, the officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Watson was asked to perform the Standard Field Sobriety Test and performed poorly. Watson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Watson was asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication, he refused. Watson was booked and incarcerated.

Shawn Durkins 23 YOA Mallard St. Morgan City,LA was arrested on 01/30/2017 @ 1:32 pm

Charges: Warrant-City Court Morgan City for FTA for Driving under Suspension

                  Warrant-City Court Morgan City for FTA for No Turn Signal

Officers located Mr. Durkins at a Hwy 70 business and knew of outstanding warrants on him. Mr. Durkins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

 

Sir Charles Evans, 38 YOA, Oak St. Morgan City,LA was arrested on 01/30/2017 @ 10:15 pm

Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery

                  Criminal Trespassing

Officers patrolling the area of Railroad Ave was flagged down by Evans who claimed that he was jumped by several subject.  As officer began to investigate the complaint it was learned that Evans went to  a residence on Railroad Ave and pulled a female companion from the residence.  During this time a subject at this time intervened and prevented Evans from further doing harm to the female.  It was also learned that Evans was told to leave the residence earlier, but returned.  Evans was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Brent Poiencot, 40YOA, Renee Dr Thibodeaux, La was arrested on 01/31/2017 @ 2:30 am

Charge: Warrant-Parish Purpose(Lafourche Parish)

During a traffic stop officers came into contact with Mr. Poiencot, after a computer check for warrants it was learned that Poiencot was wanted by Lafourche Parish Sheriff's office.  Poiencot was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

     Robert Skipper was located by officers at a residence on Bowman Street where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held  by Probation and Parole.  Skipper was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Alton M Kemp Jr., 39 years of age, Address: Verdun Lane Centerville, La. was arrested on 01/26/2017 @ 2:23pm.

                  Warrant - Simple Criminal Damage to Property
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 03/17/16 for Telephone Harassment

     An officer responded to the area of Victor II Blvd. near Redwood Street in regard to a subject in possession of a stolen bicycle.  The officer arrived and located a subject matching the description provided  riding a bicycle identified as Alton M Kemp Jr..  During an investigation, reports indicate the that bicycle was identified as a reported stolen bicycle.  A warrants check was conducted and it was learned that Kemp had active arrest warrants by the Morgan City Police Department and the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Kemp was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Beranek was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
