Charges: Appearing in Public Intoxicated
A patrolling officer observed a subject walking in the area Hwy 182 near Myrtle Street who appeared to be swaying as he walked. The officer made contact with the subject identified as Kenneth P Oconnor. During an investigation, reports indicate that Connor was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Oconnor was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Dalaina M Renthrop, 23 years of age, Address: Hwy 663 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/28/2016 @ 2:13am.

Driving While Intoxicated (Second Offense)
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle on Hwy 182 traveling out of its designated lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted near Seventh St. and the driver of the vehicle identified as Dalaina M Renthrop. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that Renthrop was suspected have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Renthrop was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Renthrop refused the Intoxilyzer 5000 test according to reports. Renthrop was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail where she was incarcerated.
Daniel W Gadberry, 36 years of age, Address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/28/2016 @ 11:17am.

Jared P Duplechin, 39 years of age, Address: Southeast Blvd. Bayou Vista, La. was arrested on 10/28/2016 @ 11:17am.
Charges: Possession of a Schedule II CDS (Percocet)
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Fourth Street near Main Street with a canceled license plate. A vehicle stop was conducted when the occupants of the vehicle were identified as driver Jared P Duplechin and passenger Daniel W Gadberry. During a traffic investigation, Duplechin and Gadberry's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of Duplechin's person was conducted when officers located suspected percocet. A search of the vehicle was conducted when officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia which Gadberry stated belonged to him according to reports. Both Duplechin and Gadberry were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Jennifer Lozano, 38 years of age, Address: Mount St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/29/2016 @ 1:20am.

Warrant - Aggravated Battery
Officers responded to an address on Mount Street in regard to a call of a disturbance involving an aggravated battery. Responding officers were told that one of the subjects involved had left the residence on foot walking towards Railroad Avenue. A description was provided when responding officers located Jennifer Lozano who matched the description moments later. Officers also spoke with a subject at the residence who showed signs of a battery. Officers were told that during an argument, Lozano committed a battery on the victim while armed with a knife. During an investigation, reports indicate that evidence of the alleged battery was uncovered by officers. A warrant check reveiled that Lozano had active arrest warrants through the 16th Judicial District Court. Lozano was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Morgan A Young, 33 years of age, Address: Pinhook St. Lafayette, La. was arrested on 10/29/2016 @ 9:31am.

Tyraneka Lang, 22 years of age, Address: Canary St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/29/2016 @ 9:31am.

Morgan A Young and Tyraneka Lang who were currently incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail were both booked on additional battery charges. Correctional Officers responded to a disturbance in one of the cells when they observed Young and Lang involved in a fistic encounter according to reports. Young and Lang were separated and booked on the additional battery charges.

George Harvey was located by officers on Egle Street where Harvey was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial District Court. Harvey was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Joshua Barnes, 21 years of age, Address: Ditch Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/29/2016 @ 5:33pm.

Officers responded to Lawrence Park in regard to a report of two subject having sex on the gazebo. As officers arrived they observed two subject in the gazebo later identified as Joshua Barnes and Latisha M Williams who appeared to be adjusting their clothing. The officers spoke with several witnesses in the area who told officers that Williams and Bares were observed having sexual intercourse while in the gazebo. Both Barnes and Williams were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Lee M Banicky, 27 years of age, Address: Vine Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/20/2016 @ 12:27am.
Charge: Aggravated Assault
Officers responded an area of the levee on Hwy 70 in regard to a disturbance. The officers arrived and located several subject involved several who showed signs of a battery. Merlin Boudreaux and Lee M Banicky were identified as two of the subjects involved in the alleged disturbance. Officers were told by several witnesses that during an argument, Merlin Boudreaux committed a battery on three subjects at the location. During the disturbance, Banicky was alleged to have threatened one of the subject with a weapon. Both Boudreaux and Baniky were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated. The investigation continues.
Christopher W Frye, 27 years of age, Address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/30/2016 @ 3:55am.
Charge: Driving While Intoxicated
Officers responded to North Third Street in regard to a suspicious vehicle parked running for a long period of time. The officers arrived when they located a vehicle matching the description resting against a utility pole with the engine running and driver inside identified as Christopher W Frye. During an investigation, reports indicate that Frye was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Frye was transported to the Morgan City Jail for further chemical testing where Frye submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .124 grams percent. Frye was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Roy D Skinner, 52 years of age, Address: John Edward Ln. Thibodeaux, La. was arrested on 10/30/2016 @ 4:24pm.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Second Street and Barrow Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Roy D Skinner. During a traffic investigation the officers learned that Skinner had a suspended drivers license and the vehicle did not have state required insurance. Skinner was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
