Charge: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 02/04/14 for Speeding
Ryan P Bergeron was arrested at the Morgan City Police Deprtment in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bergeron was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jerry L Percle Jr., 48 years of age, Address: Canton St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 09/02/2016 @ 12:18pm.

Driving Under Suspension
A patrolling officers observed a vehicle run a red light on Hwy 182 at the Colonial Shopping Center intersection. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Jerry L Percle Jr.. A drivers license check revealed that Percle Jr. had a suspended drivers license. Percle Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerted.
Justin M Marzoni, 34 years of age, Address: Orange St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/06/2016 @ 2:10am.
Charge: Possession of Stolen Property
A patrolling officer observed a vehicel traveling in the area of Hwy 182 near Martin Luther King Blvd.. A license plate check was conducted when according to reports, the vehicle was reported stolen through the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Justin M Marzoni. An investigation as conducted at which time Marzoni was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Phillip M Brooks Jr., 54 years of age, Address: Hwy 182 Belle Chasse, La. was arrested on 09/03/2016 @ 7:43pm.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
An officer responded to the area of Lawrence Park in regard to a report of an intoxicated subject laying in the street. The officer arrived when the officer located a subject matching the description provided identified as Phillip M Brooks Jr.. During an investigation, reports indicate that Brooks Jr. was suspected to have been drinking an was believed to be extremely intoxicated. Brooks Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Joseph L Estay III, 46 years of age, Address: Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/03/2016 @ 9:43pm.

Stop Sign Violation
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Marguarite Street drive off of the roadway onto the sidewalk and then back on to the roadway. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the vehicle refused to stop. Reports indicate a vehicle persue ensued when the vehicle was observed to run the stop sign at Sixth Street and Onstead Street. The persue continued for several city blocks when the vehicle stopped in front of a residence on Aucoin Street. The driver of the vehicle later identified as Joseph L Estay III was escorted out of the vehicle when he began to resist officers. After a short struggle, Estay was placed into cuffs and arrested. During an investigation, Estay III was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Eastay III was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where Estay refused the Intoxilyzer 5000 according to reports. Estay was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Erick Billiot, 25 years of age, Address: Arenz St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/03/2016 @ 9:45pm.
Charge: Warrant - Probation Violation
Erick Billiot was located by officers on the S&P Festival grounds where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Mogan City Court. Billiot was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ginger Russell, 39 years of age, Address: Oak Harber Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2016 @ 11:11pm.

Driving While Intoxicated
Officers responded to Hwy La. 70 in regard to a single vehicle crash. The officers arrived when they located the vehicle involved which appear to have lost control and ran off of the roadway. Reports indicate that the driver of the vehicle was identified as Ginger Russell who was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Russell was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Russell submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .046 grams percent. Russell was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail where she was incarcerated.
Luis A Perez Leon, 30 years of age, Address: Waterworks Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2016 @ 11:33pm.

A patrolling officer observed what appeared to be a disturbance involving several subjects in the area of Fifth Street near Greenwood Street. The officer stopped to investigate when Luis A Perez Leon and Jose M Garcia Robles were identified as two of the subjects involved. Reports indicate that Leon and Robles were suspected to have been drinking and were believed to be intoxicate. Both Leon and Robles were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Simple Battery
A patrolling officer observed what appeared to a disturbance in the parking lot of a local lounge on Hwy 182. The officer stopped when Garrett E Pearce was identified as one of the subjects involved in the disturbance. During an investigation, the officers was told by several people including a subject later identified as the victim of a battery that the victim and Pearce were involved in an argument when Pearce allegedly committed a battery on the victim. Pearce was placed under arrest and tranpsorted to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
A patrolling officer observed a subject walking in the middle of Victor II Blvd. near Cottonwood Street who appeared to be unsteady on his feet. The officer stopped the subject who was identified as Bradford G Jones who the officer had previous dealings with earlier that night. Reports indicate that Jones who was believed to be intoxicated was instructed by officers to stay inside for the night. Jones who was still suspected to be intoxicated was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Paris Durkins, 29 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/05/2016 @ 11:39am.
Charge: Theft of Goods
An officer responded to a local drug store on Brashear Avenue in regard to a report of a theft. The officer arrived when the officer was told by store employees that Paris Durkins who was gone prior to the officers arrival had taken several items from the shelf and left the store without paying. Reports indicate that video footage of the incident supporting the alleged theft was obtained by the officer. A description of Durkins was provided to area officers when Paris Durkins was located at a residence on Egle Street. During an investigation, reports indicate the items of the alleged theft valued at $10.14 were recovered by officers and released to the store. Durkins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Glynn J Wilson, 44 years of age, Address: Myrtle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/05/2016 @ 3:54pm.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn from Brashear Avenue onto Fifth Street. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Glynn J Wilson. During a traffic investigation, proper insurance papers could not be provided. Reports indicated that Wilson's behavior arroused the officer's suspicions that Wilson may be involved in illegal narcotics activity. A search was conducted when the officer located suspected crack cocaine on Wilson. The location of the incident was within the area of a designated drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Wilson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jackson N Purvis III, 32 years of age, Address: Oak St. New Orleans, La. was arrested on 09/05/2016 @ 4:04pm.

Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives were in the area of Lawrence Park when they observed a subject holding appeared to be drug paraphernila in his hand. The subject, later identified as Jackson N Purvis III was detained by investigators for an investigation. During the inestigation the investigators located the suspected drug paraphernalia along with suspected marijuana on Purvis III. The location of the incident was within the area of a local church in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Purvis III was placed under arrest and tranpsorted to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Officers responded to Lawrence Park in regard to a reported disturbance involving several subjects. The officers arrived when then they located Alexus D Lirette, Wade J Trahan and a female later identified as the victim of a battery. During an investigation, reports indicate that officers were told that Lirette, Trahan and the female who showed signs of a battery were involved in an argument when Lirette and Trahan were alleged to have committed a battery on the female. Lirette and Trahan were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department of an incident reported on May 23, 2016 of an allged domestic abuse battery. Todd was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
