MCPD Arrest Report 4/23/2021
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 4/22/2021.
Danny P. Savoie, 43 years of age, Address-Barrow St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 4/22/2021 at 10:26 A.M.

Indecent Behavior with Juvenile
Registration of Sex Offenders
On March 14, 2021, Morgan City Police Department received a complaint of Danny P. Savoie having improper contact with a juvenile victim. Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department began an investigation and learned Danny Savoie was a convicted sex offender and failed to register with the Morgan City Police Department. During the investigation, Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Molestation of a Juvenile, Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile, and Registration of Sex Offenders. On April 22, 2021, Investigators were able to locate Danny P. Savoie on Barrow St. and place him under arrest. He was booked and incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.
Quintin Dewayne Douglas, 29 years of age, Address-Tiffany St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 4/22/2021 at 1:36 P.M.
