Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 07/12/2021:
Jason Paul Cavalier Sr., 46, address: Hilda St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/12/2021 at 8:40 am.

Warrant-False Communication with the Intent to Cause an Emergency Response
Vernon J. Robin Jr., 58, address: Front St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/12/2021 at 9:02 am.
Charge:
Warrant- Disturbing the Peace Fighting
Cory Castille, 32, address: Bush St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/12/2021 at 9:51 pm.

Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Violation of Uniform CDS Law- Drug Free Zone
The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant at a residence on Bush St. Located at the residence was Cory Castille. During the search, officers located suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale along with drug paraphernalia. Castile was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alexander R. Foreman, 25, address: Egle St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/12/2021 at 12:22 pm.

Aggravated Battery of Dating Partner
Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
Alexander Foreman was transported from the West Baton Rouge Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the department. The warrants stem from an incident in March where it is alleged that Foreman forcefully entered a home, committed a battery and threaten the victim with a firearm. Foreman was booked and incarcerated.
Shelby R. Lee, 37, address: Landry Ln. Morgan City, LA was arrested on 07/12/2021 at 5:17 pm.
