Arrest Report 09/11/2014

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 09/10/2014:

 

 

James Naverre, 17 years of age, Address-Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/10/2014 @ 10:39am

Charge: Simple Battery

     Officers responded to a complaint of a subject striking another student at the Morgan City High School.  Officers arrived and were provided video evidence indicating that a student, James Naverre had struck a female student several times in the face.  He was detained by school staff.  Naverre was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

Areana Candanedo, 24 years of age, Address-Highway 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/10/2014 @ 7:36pm

Charge: Warrant; Probation Violation

Areana Candanedo was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant.  Candanedo was arrested, booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

John J. Jones, 32 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/10/2014 @ 6:20pm

Charge: Violation of Protective Orders

     Officers received a complaint of a subject, John Jones who was in violation of a protective order issued by the court.  Officers arrived in the area and located Jones in the area.  According to witnesses, Jones had went to a Cypress St. address after being prohibited by the order.  John Jones was located and placed under arrest for violation of the protective order.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
