The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 06/24/2016.

Larry Kyle, 63 years of age, Address: Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/24/2016 @ 9:46pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace

Brittney N Plummer, 27 years of age, Address: Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/24/2016 @ 9:46pm. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace 

Paula G Kyle, 60 years of age, Address: Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/24/2016 @ 9:48pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace

     Officers responded to an address on Aucoin Street in regard to a reported disturbance. The officers arrived and located three subjects who were allegedly involved in the disturbance identified as Larry Kyle, Paula G Kyle and Brittney N Plummer. During an investigation, reports indicate that Larry Kyle, Paula Kyle and Plummer were involved in an argument outside a residence each using offensive profane language which was witnesses by several people in the area. Larry Kyle, Paula Kyle and Plummer were placed under arrest and tranpsorted to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Freddy Borne, 38 years of age, Address: Prarie Rd. Centerville, La. was arrested on 06/25/2016 @ 4:15pm.

Charges:  Warrant - Theft (under $750.00)

     Freddy Borne was transported from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Jail Facility to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Borne was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Jimmie Durden, 35 years of age, Address: Oak Forest Dr. Gibson, La. was arrested on 06/26/2016 @ 2:16am. 

Charge: Disturbing the Peace

     Officers responded to a local medical facility on Marguerite Street in regard to a male subject causing a disturbance inside. The officers arrived when they located Jimmie Durden who matched the description of the subject provided. During an investigation, officers learned that Durden had allegedly became angry and was raising his voice causing a disturbance inside the facility.  Durden was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Jannell Robinson, 32 years of age, Address: Chennault St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/26/2016 @ 11:43am. 

Charges:  Window Tint Violation (15% / 40%)
                  Driving Under Suspension
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 09/08/2010 for Traffic Offensess

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Martin Luther King Blvd. with front window tint that appeared to be darker than the 40% allowed by Louisiana Law. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Jannell Robinson. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that a check of the windows was conducted with a 15% reading. A warrants and license check was conducted when it was leanred that Robinson had a suspended drivers license and an active arrest warrant with the 16th Judicial District Court. Robinson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated. 

Jeff E Verret, 32 years of age, Address: Sterling Rd. Houma, La. was arrested on 06/26/2016 @ 4:12pm. 

Charge:  Urinating in Public

     Officers responded to an area in Lake End Park in regard to a report of a male subject urinating in public. The officers arrived and located Jeff E Verret who matched the description provided. During an investigation, Verret was identified by several witnesses as the subject allegedly urinating in near a parked vehicle. Verret was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Danny Williams, 45 years of age, Address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/27/2016 @ 1:55am.

Charge:  Entering or Remaining in Places After Being Forbidden

     An officer responded to a local convenience store on Hwy 182 in regard to a call to remove a subject from the property. The officer arrived and located Danny Williams who matched the description provided. During an investigation, reports indicate the officer learned that Danny Williams had been barred from the business property due to a previous incident and was instructed not to return. Wiliams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
