Officers responded to a residence on Mark Drive in regard to a report of suspected drug activity taking place at the residence. The officers arrived and they located Gavin D Carnley who reportedly resides at the resisdence along with several visiting juveniles. Reports indicate that during an investigation, the officers uncovered evidence of Carnley using illegal narcotics while in the presence of the juveniles. A search of the residence was conducted when the officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Carnely was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Elaina S Gouner, 32 years of age, Address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/13/2016 @ 7:04pm.
Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Hwy 182 with illegal window tint. A traffic stop was conducted when Elaina S Gouner was identified as an occupant inside the vehicle. Gouner's behavior arroused the officer's suspicions that she may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. During the investigation, reports indicate that Gouner told the officer that the suspected methamphetamine and parapheralia belonged to her. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for the infraction while Gouner was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
