The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 08/08/2016.
Randall M LeJeune, 53 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/08/2016 @ 2:57pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 06/28/16 for Theft by Shoplifting
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 06/28/16 for Contempt of Court
                  Warrant - Contempt of Court

     Randall M LeJeune was located by officers in the area of Sixth Street near Arenz Street where he was arrested on several active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. LeJeune was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 
Brian J Fitter, 34 years of age, Address: Kelli Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/08/2016 @ 6:58pm. 

Charge:  Simple Assault

     Officers responded to a residence on Terrebonne St. in regard to a call of a disturbance. Officers arrived when they located Brain J Fitter and a female at the residence. During an investigation, reports indicate that officers were told by the female and witnesses that Fitter and the female were involved in an argument when Fitter threatened to commit bodily harm to the female. Fitter who appeared to be upset was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 
Nicole Hampton, 29 years of age, Address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/08/2016 @ 10:56pm. 

Charges:  No Drivers License
                  Obstructed Windshield
                  Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker
                  Warrant - Criminal Neglect of Family

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Hwy 182 near the intersection of U.S. 90 with a shattered windshield. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Nicole Hampton. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that it was learned that Hampton did not have a valid drivers license and the motor vehicle inspection sticker was expired. A warrants check revealed that Hampton had an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial District Court. Hampton was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
