MCPD Arrest Report 10/11/2016

The following person were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 10/10/2016:

Quentin Businelle, 37 years of age, Address- Hwy 70 Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 10/10/2016 @ 7:52 am. 

Charge:  Theft under $ 750.00

 Officers responded to a local motel on Hwy 182 in regards to a theft. Officers arrived made contact with witnesses, who stated that Quentin Businelle had contacted a local business to unlock his vehicle, but could not make payment.Officers spoke to Businelle and according to reports, he admitted that he was unable to pay for the service which valued at $65.00. Businelle was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Shawn Lee, 46 years of age, Address- Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/10/2016 @ 4:40 pm. 

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear (2cts)

   Shawn Lee was located at a local motel on Hwy 182. A local warrants check was done on Lee and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Lee was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Kimberly Evans, 24 years of age, Address- River Rd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 10/11/2016 @ 1:35 am. 

Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation (2cts)

   Kimberly Evans was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants she held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Evans was booked and incarcerated.
