Officers responded to the intersection of Hwy 182 and Brashear Avenue in regard to a vehicle stopped in the roadway blocking traffic. Officers arrived when they located the above described vehicle stopped in the roadway with a female in the driver seat who appeared to be sleeping. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle identified as Emilie K Businelle when officers observed what appeared to be suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. Reports indicate that Businelle was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Businelle was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Businelle submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .164 grams percent. Businelle was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Officers responded local business on Hwy 182 in regard to a call of a subject trying to sell illegal narcotics out of a pill bottle. The officers arrived and located a subject identified as Juan R Torres Jr. who matched the description provided. During an investigation, reports indicated that Torres Jr. was searched when officers located suspected metformin, hydroxyzine, atenolol, and hydrochlorothinzide. Torres Jr. was also suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. A warrants check revealed that Torres Jr. had several active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court.
Margaret Miskelley, 25 years of age, Address: Leona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/07/2016 @ 6:10pm.

An officer responded to David Drive in regard to a reported vehicle crash. The officer arrived and identified Margaret Miskelley as the driver of the vehicle involved. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that a drivers license check revealed that Miskelley had a suspended drivers license. Miskelley was also suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Miskelley was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Miskelley submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .132 grams percent. Miskelley was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Timothy S Crum, 38 years of age, Address: Hwy 663 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/07/2016 @ 8:50pm.
Charge: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 06/21/16 for Driving Under Suspension
Timothy S Crum turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Crum was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
