An officer responded to a residence on McDermott Drive in regard to a reported theft. The officer arrived and spoke with the complainant /victim who told the officer that Brittan Boudreaux had stolen several items from inside the residence. Officers went to a residence on Lizabeth Drive which was believed to be where Boudreaux resided. A warrants check was conducted and it was learned that Boudreaux had numerous active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. The officers were allowed inside the residence by the home owner when Boudreaux ran out the residence. A foot chased ensued when officers chased Boudreaux who ran through several yard jumping fences. Boudreaux was apprehended by when officers located suspected drug paraphernalia on Bourdreaux. Boudreaux was transported to the Morgan City Police Department and officers returned back to the residence to continue the theft investigation. During the investigation, reports indicate that officers conducted a search of the residence and located the reported stolen items. Boudreaux was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Charlie Salas IV, 24 years of age, Address: Taft St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 11/09/2016 @ 11:31am.
Charges: Warrant - Possession of Stolen Property
Charlie Salas IV was transported from the Patterson Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident reported on October 11, 2016 of alleged stolen property. Salas IV was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Terrell Irvin, 18 years of age, Address: Garber St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/10/2016 @ 8:40pm.
Charges: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 5/10/16 for Criminal Damage to Property
Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/10/16 for Disturbing the Peace
Terrell Irvin was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Irvin was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Eddy Cervantes, 37 years of age, Address: Sebby's Ln. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/10/2016 @ 11:05pm.
Charges: Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Driving While Intoxicated
Officers responded to U.S. 90 west in regard to a reported traffic accident. The officers arrived when Eddy Cervantes was identified as the driver of one of the vehicles involved. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that Cervantes was suspected have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Cervantes was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Cervantes submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .106 grams percent. Cervantes was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
