MCPD Arrest Report 11/17/2016

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 11/16/2016:

Jeffery B. Lodrigue 25 years of age, Address- Second St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 11/16/2016 @ 8:00 am.

Charge: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
               

   Officers were dispatched to the area of Franklin and Sixth St. in regards to an individual in a vehicle possibly involved in illegal drug activity. A descrption of the vehicle was given out and officers located the vehicle on Franklin St. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle was identified as Jeffery Lodrigue. Loddrigue gave officers consent to search the vehicle and there were no illegal narcotics located. According to reports, the owner of the vehicle was located and stated that Lodrigue did not have permission to use the vehicle. Lodrigue was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Lionel Jones Jr. 28 years of age, Address- Mount St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/16/2016 @ 11:05 pm. 

Charge: Driving Under Suspension
               Headlights Required
               No Insurance
               Warrant- Failure to Appear for Arraignment (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)
   
   A patrol officer in the area of David Dr. and LA 70, observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Lionel Jones Jr. Jones was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check revealed that Jones' driver's license was under suspension. Jones also held an active warrant for the Sixthteenth Judical District Court. Jones was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Billie Driskill, 40 years of age, Address- Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/17/2016 @ 4:04 am. 

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear for Domestic Violence (2cts)
                Warrant- Failure to Appear for Disturbing the Peace

   Officers located Billie Driskill on Ditch Ave. A warrants check was done on Driskill and it was determined that she held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Driskill was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
