MCPD Arrest Report 11/23/2016

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 11/22/2016:

Raymond J. Adams, 42 years of age, Address- Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/22/2016 @ 1:13 pm.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace- Use of Offensive Language

   Officers responded to a local business on First St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke with management. According to reports, Raymond Adams came to the business to receive donated items for individuals in need of assistance. Adams was unhappy with the items he received and began using profanites. Adams was asked to leave by management, but continued using profanities. Officers also spoke to several witnesses, who stated that Adams was loud and used profanities, while at the business. Officers were able locate Adams in the area of First and Greenwood St. Adams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 

Amanda Lake, 34 years of age, Address- Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/22/2016 @ 2:32 pm.

Charge:  Remaining After Being Forbidden

   Officers responded to a resisdence on Lawerence St. in regards to removing an individual. Officers arrived and spoke to a witness, who stated that Amanda Lake was order by the Sixth Ward City Court to not return to the residence on Lawerence. St. Officers were able to verify the order through City Court. Lake was located outside the residence, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 

Pamela D. Jones, 55 years of age, Address- Cherry St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 11/22/2016 @ 3:30 pm. 

Charge:  Warrant- Simple Criminal Damage to Property

   Pamela Jones was transported from the Patterson Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in August, where it is alleged that Jones damaged a tire on a vehicle. Jones was booked and incarcerated.
