The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 11/28/2016:

Valerie L. Suttoon, 37 years of age, Address- Louisa St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/28/2016 @ 1:50 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Automobile Insurance Policy Fraud
                 Warrant- Hit and Run

Joshua A. Sutton, 34 years of age, Address- Louisa St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/28/2016 @ 1:50 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Automobile Insurance Policy Fraud

   Valerie Suttoon and Joshua Suttoon were arrested at their residence on Lousia St. for active warrants they held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrants stem from an incident in October which alleges that Valerie Sutton was involved in a hit and run vehicle crash. In November, it is also alleged that Valerie and Joshua filed a fraudulent automobile insurance claim on the vehicle involved in the hit and run incident. Both Valerie and Joshua were booked and incarcerated.
