MCPD Arrest Report 12/02/2016

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 12/01/2016:

Joseph M. Price, 44 years of age, Address- Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/01/2016 @ 8:31 am.

Charge: Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines- Criminal Trespassing

Joseph Price was located in the area of Front St. and Brashear Ave. A warrants check was done on Price and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Price was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Tommy D. Donati, 34 years of age, Address- Carter Lane Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/02/2016 @ 5:07 am.

Charge: Remaining After Being Forbidden

Officers responded to a local business on Brashear Ave. in regards to an individual that had been told not to return back to the business. Officers arrived and spoke to managment, who stated that Tommy Donati was barred from entering the business. Officers located Donati inside the store, he was place under arrest and transported the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ashton Martinez, 17 years of age, Address- Hickory St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/02/2016 @ 1:10 am.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Officers responded to a residence on Hickory St. in regards to an individual using illegal narcotics in the residence. According to reports, officers arrived and spoke to the witness, who stated that Ashton Martinez had been smoking illegal narcotics in her home. Officers made contact with Martinez in one of the bedrooms and reports indicate, he admitted to using illegal narcotics. Officers also observed suspected marijuana and items used to smoke illegal narcotics on the bed of Martinez. Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
