MCPD Arrest Report 12/19/2016
The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 12/16/2016:
Ivis J. Gaudet, 63, years of age, Address- 2 Brothers St. Amelia, La. was arrested on 12/16/2016 @ 12:00 am.
Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
Careless Operation
Officers responded to the area of Sixth and Terrebonne St. in regards to a hit and run vehicle crash. Officers arrived and noticed that a fire hydrant was damage. A description of the vehicle was given out and officers were able to locate the vehicle parked at a residence. The driver of the vehicle identified as Ivis Gaudet was asked to exit the vehicle. According to reports, Gaudet stated he had crashed into the hydrant. While speaking to Gaudet, officers could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Gaudet was asked to the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, which he performed poorly. Gaudet was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Gaudet submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Gaudet results yielded a .089 g% of blood alcohol content. Gaudet was booked and incarcerated.
Michael H. Delee, 30 years of age, Address- Florence St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/16/2016 @ 2:43 pm.
Charge: Obscenity
Officers responded to the area of Allison St. in regards to an individual exposing his gentiles. According to reports, the victim stated that she was walking in the area, when a vehicle pulled up next to her. The driver made a comment and pointed to his exposed gentiles. A description of the driver and vehicle were given out. Officers were able to locate the vehicle on Florence St. The driver, Michael Delee was question about the incident. Delee was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jason Myers, 41 years of age, Address- North Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/16/2016 @ 9:06 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Telephone Harassment
Jason Myers was located at his residence. A warrants check was done Myers and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. Myers was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Hector S. Ruiz, 35 years of age, Address- Shivers St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/16/2016 @ 10:26 pm.
Charge: Possession of Sch II CDS Hydrocodone

Stop Sign Violation
A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 near Grizzaffi St., observed a vehicle fail to stop at stop sign at the intersection of Grizzaffi St. and Hwy 182. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Hector Ruiz was asked to produce a valid driver's license. Ruiz appeared nervous, which aroused the officer suspicion that he might be involved in illegal drug activity. Officers were given consent to search the vehicle. Officers located pills identified as Hydrocodone and Gabapentin. Ruiz was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
August L. Turner Jr., 56 years of age, Address- Hwy. 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/17/2016 @ 2:40 am.

Driving Under Suspension
No Insurance
A patrol officer in the area of Eleventh St. and Railroad Ave., observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, August Turner was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check revealed that Turner's driver's license was suspended. Turner was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
David Martinez, 53 years of age, Address- Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/17/2016 @ 4:44 am.
Charge: Resisting an Officer
Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines (2cts)
Joseph Martinez, 43 years of age, Address- John St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/17/2016 @ 4:44 am.
Charge: Resisting an Officer
Officers located David Martinez and Joseph Martinez in the area of Duke St. When officers approached, both David and Joseph began to flee on foot. They were apprehended a short time later. A warrants check was done on both and it was determined that David Martinez held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Both David and Joseph were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alejandro C. Bastida, 33 years of age, Address- Jones St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/17/2016 @ 5:51 am.
Charge: Possession of Cocaine
Violation of Uniform CDS- Drug Free Zone
Officers responded to a residence on Sixth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and noticed several individuals outside the residence. One of the individuals, identified as Alejandro Bastida, appeared to be snorting a substance. Officers approached Bastida and located suspected cocaine. Bastida was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Victoria Stephens, 24 years of age, Address- Glenwood St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/17/2016 @ 9:30 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear (St. Mary Sheriff's Office)
Victoria Stephens was located on Roderick St. A warrants check was done Stephens and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the 16th Judicial District Court. Stephens was booked and incarcerated.
Gregory J. Gros, 54 years of age, Address- Levee Hwy. Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 12/17/2016 @ 2:29 am.
Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
No Headlights
A patrol officer in the area of Aycock St. and Hwy 182, observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Gregory Gros was asked to produce a valid driver's license. While speaking to Gros, the officer observed an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Gros was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, he performed poorly. Gros was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Gros submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Gros results yielded a .099g% of blood alcohol content. Gros was booked and incarcerated.
Caston Malveaux, 60 years of age, Address- Signe St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 12/18/2016 @ 1:28 am.
Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense

Donna M. Davidson, 57 years of age, Address- Feret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/18/2016 @ 1:28 am.
Charge: Warrant- Theft under $750.00
A patrol officer in the area of Eleventh St. and Hwy 182, observed a vehicle with only one functioning headlight. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Caston Malveaux was asked to produce valid driver's license. While speaking with Malveaux, the officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. The Standardized Field Sobriety Test was done on Malveaux and he performed poorly. Malveaux was placed under arrest. The passenger in the vehicle identified as Donna Davidson was asked to exit the vehicle. A warrants check was done on Davidson and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. Both Malveaux and Davidson were transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Malveaux submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Malveaux results yielded a .140g% of blood alcohol content. Both were booked and incarcerated.
Pamela Reed, 57 years of age, Address- Roderick St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/18/2016 @ 9:29 pm.
Charge: Theft of Goods
Officers were dispatched to a local business on Brashear Ave. in regards to a shoplifter management had detained. Reports indicate that employees had witnessed Pamela Reed conceal an item and tried to leave the store without paying. Reed was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Darien L. Keller, 23 years of age, Address- Hwy 87 Charenton, La. was arrested on 12/18/2016 @ 9:21 pm.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana
Officers responded to a local business on Hwy 182 in regards to an employee having suspected marijuana in his possession. Officers arrived and located Darien Keller. Keller consented to officers to search his person. Officers located suspected marijuana on Keller. Keller was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Brennan J. Foreman, 24 years of age, Address- Susan Ct. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/18/2016 @ 10:04 pm.
Charge: Criminal Damage to Property

Officers responded to a residence on Allison St. in regards to damage to property. Officers arrived and spoke to the witness who according to reports stated that Brennan Foreman damaged his girlfriend's vehicle. Officers located Foreman on Third St. and reports indicate he admitted to damaging the vehicle. Foreman also held active warrants for the 6th Ward City Court. Foreman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Michael J. Stiles, 37 years of age, Address- Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/18/2016 @ 11:01 pm.
Charge- Warrant- Driving Under Suspension
Warrant- Attempted Theft under $750.00
Warrant- Criminal Trepass
Michael Stiles was located at his residence. A warrants check was done on Stiles and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. Stiles was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
