Officers were called to Federal Ave for a disturbance. Upon the officer's arrival, they came into contact with Ashley Broussard. Officers learned from witnesses Ashley Broussard had exposed herself to witnesses and caused a disturbance. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Kyle Logan, 34 years of age, Address-East Julius Carter Rd., Woodville, MS., was arrested on 6/1/2021 at 1:39 P.M. Charge:Monetary Instrument Abuse (3 Count)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Officers were called to a local business about receiving counterfeit money. Upon the officer's arrival, they leaned Kyle Logan and Lisa Chaisson entered the business attempting to make purchases with counterfeit money. Logan was able to make a purchase with the counterfeit money and leave the store. A short time later, Chaisson entered the store and attempted to make purchases with counterfeit money but, the employee observed the $100.00 to be counterfeit. Both Logan and Chaison left the store before officers arrived. During their investigation, the Morgan City Police Department received a second complaint of Logan and Chaison attempting to pass counterfeit money. Officers arrived at the second business and detained Logan and Chaisson. Logan discarded counterfeit money he had in his possession upon seeing officers arriving on the scene. Officers also located suspected drug paraphernalia in Chaisson's possession. Both Logan and Chaisson were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Officers investigating this complaint were able to assist the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office with identifying Logan as a suspect passing counterfeit money at an Amelia business. The officer was able to discover evidence in Logan and Chassion's possession of passing counterfeit money in other jurisdictions that may lead to further charges.

On June 1, 2021, Officers with the Morgan City Police Department responded to a complaint of an individual making threats to a governmental agency. During the investigation, Chad Williams was identified as a suspect. The investigating officer obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On June 2, 2021, Officers and Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department located Chad Williams at his residence on Chennault St. While attempting to arrest Williams, he began to pull away from arresting officers and discard suspected drug paraphernalia in a nearby garbage can. Officers were able to secure Williams in handcuffs and place him under arrest.
During the investigation, a search warrant of obtained for the residence. Officers located Cassandra Duval and a child under the age of 17 at the residence. During the search of the home, officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Cassandra Duval was placed under arrest. Chad Williams and Cassandra Duval were transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
