Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 36-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 9/30/2020
Eric Spencer Gaskins, 49 years of age, Address-Apple St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/30/2020 at 10:03 A.M.

Disturbing the Peace
Officers were called to an address on Railroad Ave. for a person trespassing. Upon the officer's arrival, they learned Eric Gaskins came to the location and caused a disturbance. He was also previously barred from the address. Gaskins was located on Myrtle St. and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Bryson Anthony Scully, 20 years of age, Address-Fig St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/30/2020 at 4:02 P.M.

Reckless Operation of an Off-Road Vehicle
Officers were called to the area of Veterans Blvd. and Hickory St for several individuals riding dirt on the roadway without helmets. When officers arrived, they located Bryson Scully and a 15-year-old male juvenile driving reckless manner on the roadway. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Dylan Deondre Robinson, 22 years of age, Address-Chennault St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/30/2020 at 8:35 P.M.

A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 182. The driver was identified as Dylan D. Robinson. A computer check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Charles Herman Pittman, 50 years of age, Address-Uranus St., Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on 9/30/2020 at 10:15 P.M.

Mikel James Ashley, 50 years of age, Address-Brashear Ave., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 9/30/2020 at 10:15 P.M.

A patrol officer observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Fourth St. and Greenwood St. The driver was identified as Charles H. Pittman along with his passenger, Mikel J. Ashley. During the traffic stop, officers found suspected methamphetamine concealed on his person. He was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers continued their investigation found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in Mikel Ashley's possession. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
