Arrest Report 07/22/2014

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 07/21/2014:

 

 

Ronald R. Vercher, 55 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 07/21/2014 @ 2:26pm

Charge: Criminal Mischief

Officers were dispatched to a Brashear Ave. office building regarding a subject tampering with a surveillence camera at that location.  Officers arrived and learned that a male subject had used a chair to gain access to a camera at that location and moved the camera.  They advised that the subject then left the building.  Officers located the subject and detained him for investigation.  The subject was subsequently arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and released after posting a cash bond. 

 

 

Toby Lebouef, 39 years of age, Address-Montegut, La. was arrested on 07/21/2014 @ 8:22pm

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated; Warrant: Probation Violation-City Court of Morgan City

     Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 motel regarding a disturbance.  Officers arrived and encountered a male subject, Toby Lebouef.  Officers learned that Lebouef had been involved in a verbal altercation with a female in the parking lot.  As officers were speaking with Lebouef, they determined that the subject was intoxicated.  Lebouef continued to shout at the female despite officers efforts to calm him.  He was ultimately arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 

 

 

Anthony Watson, 23 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/22/2014 @ 1:26am

Charge: Possession of Schedule II CDS-Crack Cocaine

Officers observed a suspicious subject in the area of Fourth St. and Freret St. and stopped to investigate.  The subject, Anthony Watson was observed attempting to conceal a celophane bag in his waistband as he spoke to officers.  The officers were able to seize the item and determined that it contained several small pieces of suspected crack cocaine.  The subject was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
