MCPD Arrest Report 08/16/2021
Chief James F. Blair reports that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 123 complaints over the last 72-hour reporting period. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning August 13, 2021.
Carl Wayne Allen Jr., 29 years of age, Address: Wren St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 08/13/2021 @ 2:40 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Criminal Damage to Property-Less than $1000
Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 02/11/2021 (7 counts)
Quijakius Johnson, 39 years of age, Address: Apple St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 08/14/2021 @ 9:41 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fines on 08/03/2021
Irvian Adam Singleton III, 22 years of age, Address: Cypress St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 08/15/2021 @ 4:36 p.m.
Charges: Aggravated Assault upon a Dating Partner
Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling
Warrant: Aggravated Cruelty to Animals
Officers responded to the area of Egle St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Irvian Adam Singleton III was identified as one of the parties involved. Singleton allegedly attempted to commit a battery on the victim with a knife. Singleton was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Morgan City Police Department for Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department in September of 2019 in which Singleton allegedly left several different reptiles in a residence without any care which resulted in the death of the animals. Singleton was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Rachel Lynn King, 37 years of age, Address: Fifth St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 08/15/2021 @ 6:26 p.m.
Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Christopher Lee Lacaze, 42 years of age, Address: Hwy 182, Morgan City, LA, arrested on 08/15/2021 @ 11:34 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 07/20/2021
Officers responded to the area of Fourth Street in regards to a disturbance. Christopher Lee Lacaze was identified as on the parties involved. Lacaze was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana , Methamphetamine, and Drug Paraphernalia. Lacaze also held an active arrest warrant through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Lacaze was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense
