Officers were dispatched to the area of Federal Ave. and Levee Rd. in regards to a vehicle being driven with narcotics inside. Officers arrived in the area and located the vehicle as described. The vehicle was found occupied by two adults, Marquis Green, Casey Chenevert and a 16 year old female juvenle. During the investigation, a responsible parent for the juvenile was summoned to the scene. During the investigation and subsequent search, officers located suspected marijuana in various locations inside the vehicle. The subjects were questioned but denied knowledge of the substance. They were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. The juvenile was released to a parent pending court proceedings.

Charge: Driving Under Suspension

Officers detained a vehicle on Highway 182 in regards to an investigation and located the driver Kathy Schaub who was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license. Schaub was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
Richard M. Giroir, 53 years of age, Address-Arenz St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/04/2014 @ 10:41pm
Charge: Obstruction of Justice, Resisting an Officer; Criminal Trespass; Theft of Goods (Value $202.96)

Officers were dispatched to a Marguerite St. pharmacy in regards to a male subject who fled the store, setting off the security alarm at the front door. Officers arrived to investigate and through video surveillence video identified the subject as Richard Giroir, the same subject who was a suspect in a theft which was reported on 09/28/2014 at the same pharmacy. Officer went to a residence in the 600 block of Arenz St. to locate the subject. Upon speaking with the resident, Giroir fled the residence into the rear yard area. Officers pursued the subject and observed him attempting discard an item in his hand. The subject refused to stop and was eventually captured and detained. The subject, Giroir admitted to officers that he discarded a pipe, commonly used to consume crack cocaine as officers approached. During the investigation, Giroir denied any theft from the pharmacy on this date but admitted to officers that he did indeed commit the theft on 09/28/2014 of items with a total value of $202.96. The over-the-counter type items were not recovered. The owner of the residence in which Giroir was captured advised he was not authorized to enter onto the property and was therefore trespassing. Giroir was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Warrant: Failure to Return Leased Merchandise

Donald Bosarge was located on Terrebone St. and placed under arrest for outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. The lease merchandise was identified as a roofing nailer valued at $250.00 which was not returned to a Highway 182 Hardware store. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Harold H. Henderson Jr., 34 years of age, Address-Utah St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/05/2014 @ 10:03pm
Charge: Disturbing the Peace

Officers were dispatched to Teche Regional in regards to a subject causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and located Harold Henderson in the emergency room treatment area yellling and causing a disturbance. Henderson was ordered to leave the premises several times which he eventually complied. A short time later, Henderson returned to the area, again causing a disturbance and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
