The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 08/04/2016:

Morgan A. Young, 33 years of age, Address- Lafayette, La. was arrested on 08/04/2016 @ 6:16 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine (2cts)
               Warrant- Failure to Pay Probation Fees
               Warrant- Probation Violation

   Morgan A. Young was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants she held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Young was booked and incarcerated. 
James Nicholas, 38 years of age, Address- Birch St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/04/2016 @ 11:46 pm. 

Charge:  Failure to Pay Probation Fee

   James Nicholas was located in the area of Second and Union St. A local warrant check was done Nicholas and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Nicholas was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
