The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 08/10/2016.

Donald J Rock Jr., 39 years of age, Address: Louisa St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/10/2016 @ 9:17am. 

Charges:  
Criminal Damage to Property

     Donald J Rock Jr. who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail was booked on additional charges of criminal damage to property. An investigation was conducated by Morgan City Police of a reported incident where Rock Jr. intentionally damaged other inmates property. During an investigation, evidence of the alleged incident was uncovered by investigators.  Rock Jr. was booked on the additional charge and remains incarcerated. 

Javier Santos, 43 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/10/2016 @ 2:20pm. 

Charge:  Theft of Goods

     An officer responded to a local grocery store on Hwy 182 in regard to a reported shoplifter. The officer arrived and spoke with the store manager who told the officer that a male subject was observed taking an item from a shelf and concealing it on his person. The officer then spoke with Javier Santos who matched the description provided when according to reports, the officer located the alleged stolen item on Santos. Santos was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Skylia R Concienne, 21 years of age, Address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/10/2016 @ 4:44pm. 

Charges:  Possession of Marijuana - Second Offense
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws

     Officers responded to the intersection of Young's Road and Fourth Street in regard to a reported traffic accident. The officers arrived and identified Skylia R Concienne as the driver of one of the vehicles involved. During a traffic investigation, Concienne's behavoir aroused the officer's suspicions that she may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of Concienne's vehicle was conducted when officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The location of the incident was within the area of a local school in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Concienne was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
