MCPD Arrest Report 10/28/2016
Cotina Poche, 41 years of age, Address: Jennie Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/27/2016 @ 11:17am.
Charges: Hit and Run
Improper Backing
Officers responded to the 600 block of Third Street in regard to a vehicle accident involving a hit and run. The officers arrived when they spoke with several witnesses to the incident who told officers that a vehicle was observed to crash into a parked vehicle and fled the scene. The license plate and description of the suspected vehicle was provided to officers by witnesses. Officers located a vehicle matching the description at a residence on Jennie Drive where officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle identified as Cotina Poche. During an investigation, reports indicate that officers uncovered evidence of Poche involvment in the hit and run crash. Poche was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Kristen M Romero, 30 years of age, Address: Jennifer St. New Iberia, La. was arrested on 10/27/2016 @ 11:09pm.
Charges: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 8/23/16 for Driving Under Suspension
Warrant - Failure to Appear on 8/23/16 for No Vehicle Insurance
Warrant - Failure to Appear on 8/23/16 for No Headlights
Kristen M Romero was transported from the Abbeville Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to several active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Romero was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
