MCPD Arrest Report 03/10/2017
The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 03/09/2017.
Corey J. Adams, 40 years of age, Address-Brule Guillot Rd. Thibodeaux, La. was arrested on 03/09/2017 @ 11:49 am.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana 3rd Offense
Possession of Schedule IV CDS (Alprazolam)
Warrant: Failure to Appear (Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office)
Officers responded to the Lake End Park area in regards to a disturbance. Officers made contact with Corey Adams, who according to reports, was having a verbal altercation with another individual. Reports also indicate that while talking to officers, Adams tried to discard what appeared to be suspected marijuana. Adams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, a correctional officer found a pill identified as Alprazolam in Adams possession. Adams also held an active warrant for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. Adams was booked and incarcerated.
Tyson Celestine, 28 years of age, Address- Eleventh St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/09/2017 @ 5:30 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Theft ( St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)
Tyson Celestine was located in the area of Hwy 182 and David Dr. A warrants check was done on Celestine and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office. Celestine was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
