The following person was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 06/09/2016:

Honey R. Donati, 32 years of age, Address- Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/08/2016 @ 8:15 pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace by Using Offensive Language

  Officers responded to a residence on Marshall St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and noticed an individual identified as Honey Donati yelling at a group of people. Officers asked Donati to calm down several times and to stop using offensive language. Donati continued and she was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 06/07/2016.

Nicholas Wiggins, 26 years of age, Address: Tupelo St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/07/2016 @ 10:30am. 

Charges:  Warrant - Attempted Second Degree Murder
                  Warrant - Wreckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Crash

     Nicholas Wiggins turned himself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by Morgan City Police. The warrants were obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Department Detectives of a reported stabbing on May 22, 2016 on Pecan Street. Officers and detectives responded to Pecan Street in regard to fight involving several subjects. During the fight, it was alleged that Nicholas Wiggins stabbed one of the subjects with a knife. It was reported that Wiggins himself was struck with a bat by others subjects involved during the incident. Wiggins then retreated to his vehicle attempted to flee the area when he allegedly drove away in a reckless manner striking several vehicles. Wiggins was booked into the Morgan City Jail where he remains incarcerated on a $110,000.00 bond.

Robert J Barrilleaux, 29 years of age, Address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/07/2016 @ 1:17pm.

Charges:  Criminal Trespassing
                  Discharging of Firearms Inside City Limits

     Officers responded to the area of Levee Road in regard to a call of several gunshots. The officers were directed by witnesses to a property on the unprotected side of the levee where the subject firing the weapon was reportedly seen. On the poperty, the officer located Robert J Barrilleaux who matched the description provided. During an investigation, Barrilleaux was found to be in possession of prop handgun which according to reports Barrilleaux told the officers he had fired. It was reported that the location of the incident was privatly owned and that Barrilleaux was trespassing. Barrilleaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Brittany N Morgan, 25 years of age, Address: Glenwood St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/07/2016 @ 9:00pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 03/01/16 for Disturbing the Peace

     Brittany N Morgan was transported from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Jail Facility to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Morgan was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Clyde W Prater, 33 years of age, Address: Jones St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 06/07/2016 @  11:35pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 06/19/15 for Following Too Close

     Clyde W Prater was located by officers in the area of Front Street near Brashear Avenue where Prater was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Prater was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 06/03/2016. 

James P Voisin, 31 years of age, Address: Patton St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/03/2016 @ 2:26am. 

Charges:  Improper Lane Usage
                  Driving While Intoxicated - 2nd Offense

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle on Pecos Street traveling out of its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as James P Voisin. During a traffic investigation, the officer suspected Voisin to have been drinking and believed Voisin may be intoxicated.  Voisin was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Voisin submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .165 grams percent.  Voisin was placed under arrest, booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Kentrell F Diggs, 23 years of age, Address: Opelousas St. Donaldsonville, La. was arrested on 06/03/2016 @ 10:58pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Probation Violation
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 12/01/15 for Possession of Stolen Things
                  Warrant - Contempt of Court
                  Warrant - Aggravated Battery

     Kentrell F Diggs was transported the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Jail Facility to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by Morgan City Police and the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Diggs was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Eddie Mayfield, 30 years of age, Address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/04/2016 @ 12:38am. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

     Officers responded to a residence on Fifth Street in regard to a call of a disturbance. Officers arrived when they located Eddie Mayfield standing in front of the residence. The officers were told by witnesses that Mayfield was involved in as argument which nearly resulted in a fight with another subject who left the area before officers arrived. During an investigation, officers suspected Mayfield to have been drinking and believed Mayfiled was intoxicated. Mayfield was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.  

Craig Nini, 34 years of age, Address: Arkansas St. Lake Charles, La. was arrested on 06/04/2016 @ 1:21am. 

Charges:  Battery On An Officer (2 Counts) 
                  Resisting An Officers With Force 
                  Obstruction of Justice

     A patrolling officer conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 182 near Martin Luther King Blvd. in regard to the vehicle traveling out of its lane of travel. During the investigation, the officer could hear what sounded like a disturbance inside the vehicle. As the officer spoke with the driver of the vehicle, other officers arrived to assist when they observed a passenger inside the vehicle later identified as Craig Nini. Reports indicate that Nini was observed moving frantically inside the vehicle and was believed to be attempting to coneal something from officers. Officers then spoke with Nini at which time he was asked to exit the vehice. Reports indicate that Nini appeared to have concealed something inside his mouth when officer told Nini to remove the object. According to reports, Nini pushed the officer and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, Nini resisted vioently when Nini kicked two of the officers. After several moments of fighting, the officers were able to gain control and place Nini in handcuffs. Reports indicate that officers retrieved a bag from Nini's mouth containing an unknown substance. The unknown substance was obtained as evidence to be sent to a criminal laboratory for analysis. Nini was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Hope L Delgado, 31 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/04/2016 @ 5:28am. 

Charge:  Theft of Goods

     An officer responded to a local convenience store on Hwy 182 in regard to a call of a shoplifter. The officer arrived and located the subject suspected of the theft inside the store identified as Hope L Delgado. The officer was told by a store employee that Delgado entered the store, concealed several items in her purse and was attempting to leave without paying. The items vauled at $34.97 were retrieved from Delgado and returned to the store. Delgado was placed under arrest and tranported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated. 

Nicholas A Breaux, 37 years of age, Address: Family St. Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 06/04/2016 @ 4:18pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Contempt of Court
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Ciminal Trespassing
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Disturbing the Peace
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear for No Drivers License

     Nicholas A Breaux was located by officers on Raiload Ave. near Fifth Street where he was arrested on several arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Breaux was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 



Byron Ogwin, 54 years of age,  Address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/04/2016 @ 7:47pm. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

     An officer responed to the area of Ditch Ave. and Hwy 182 in regard to a report of a subject stumbling in the area. The officer arrived when the officer located Byron Ogwin who matched the description provided. During an investigation, the officer suspected Ogwin to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Ogwin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Joey P Wiggins, 58 years of age, Address: Tupelo St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/05/2016 @ 10:28am.

Chages:  Warrant - Aggravated Battery
                 Warrant - Simple Criminal Damage to Property

     Joey P Wiggins was located in the area of Songe Street where Wiggins was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. Wiggins was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Shane P Scully, 27 years of age, Address: Tupelo St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/05/2016 @ 6:29pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Obstruction of Justice

     Shane P Scully was located at a local supermarket on Hwy 182 where Scully was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. Scully was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

   The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 06/08/2016:

Wesley J. Stevens, 52 years of age, Address- Star Route Franklin, La. was arrested on 06/08/2016 @ 4:06 pm. 

Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation

  Wesley Stevens was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant held for the City Court of Morgan City. Stevens was booked and incarcerated.

Tieyon K. Martinez, 30 years of age, Address- Eleventh St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/08/2016 @ 7:00 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation 2cts
                Warrant- Contempt of Court

  Tieyon Martinez turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the City Court of Morgan City. Martinez was booked and incarcerated. 

Chaz M. Rebardi, 21 years of age, Address- Mill Rd. Patterson, La. was arrested on 06/08/2016 @ 11:23 pm. 

Charge:  Warrant- Aggravated Burglary (Assumption Parish)
                Warrant- Home Invasion (Assumption Parish)

  Chaz Rebardi was located on Walnut Dr. A local warrants check was done on Rebardi and it was determined that he held active warrants with the Asssumption Parish Sheriff's Office. Rebardi was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Tyrel A. Whitehead, 18 years of age, Address- Lawrence St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/09/2016 @ 2:57 am.

Charge:  Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                Resisting Arrest

  An officer on patrol in the area of Sixth and Aucoin St. observed an individual walking in the area. The officer stopped to speak with the individual, identified as Tyrel Whitehead. Whitehead gave the officer consent to pat him down. The officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Whitehead's person. After the officer located the items, Whitehead fled from the officer, but was captured a short time later. Whitehead was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Federal Avenue near Terrebonne Street with a covering over the license plate making it obscured from view. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the vehicle refused to stop and began to flee from the officer. The officer chased the vehicle several blocks when the vehicle pulled into a residence at the intersection of Front Street near Terrebonne Street. The officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle identified as Rayfiled Grant Jr.. During an investigation, Rayfield Jr's behavior aroused the officers suspicions that Rayfiled Jr. may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Reports further indicated that Rayfield Jr. had a suspended drivers license and that the vehicle had no insurance or motor vehicle inpection sticker. A warrant checked revealed that there were several active arrest warrant for Rayfield Jr. through the Morgan City Police Department, 6th Ward Morgan City Court and the 16th Judicial District Court. Rayfield Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
 
Sir Charles Evans, 37 years of age, Address: Seventh St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/06/2016 @ 2:43pm. 

Charges:  Criminal Damage to Property
                  Warrant - Criminal Trespassing

     An officer responded to a residence on Seventh St. in regard to a report of a disturbance. The officer arrived and spoke with the owner of the residence who told the officer that Sir Charles Evans, during an argument with an individual, damaged the front door to the residence.  Evidence of the damaged property was observed by the officer when the officer spoke with Evans who according to reports told the officer that he had damage the door.  A warrants checked revealed Evans had an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was in regard to a reported incident on May 28, 2016 on Mallard Street investigated by the Morgan City Police Department of alleged criminal trespassing. Evans was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jasmine Quick, 29 years of age, Address: Walnut Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/06/2016 @ 3:23pm.

Charges:  Domestic Abuse Battery (2 counts)
                  
     An officer responded to a residence on Walnut Dr. in regard to a report of a domestic disturbnace. The officer arrived when the officer spoke with several witnesses to the incident. The officer was told that Jasmine Quick, during a domestic argument became upset and allegedly committed a battery on two individuals inside the residence. Quick who was located at the residence was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

The following person was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 06/02/2016.

Purcell A Gros, 42 years of age, Address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/02/2016 @ 6:52pm. 

Charge:  
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

     Officers responded to an residence on Sixth Street in regard to a call to remove a subject. The officers arrived when they spoke with the complainant who resides at the residence who told the officers that Purcell A Gros was at the residence causing a disturbance hollering at occupants inside. The officers were futher told that Gros was intoxicated and had left the residence walking prior to the officers arriving. A descripion was provided when officers located Gros in the area moments later. Reports indicated that officers conversed with Gros when Gros was suspected to have been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Gros was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
