Morgan City Narcotic Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on South Railroad Ave., with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Narcotic Detectives. Upon the execution of the search warrant, Investigators located several individuals inside the residence. Two of the individuals were identified as Harold W. Francois and Dan C. Gant. During the investigation, Harold W. Francois was located in possession of a large amount of crack cocaine and money, along with drug paraphernalia. Dan C. Gant was found in possession of marijuana, MDMA, and Alprazolam. The residence was within a drug-free zone both Francois and Gant were additionally charged with Violation of Uniform CDS Laws-Drug Free Zone. They were booked and incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department.
