📢 NARCOTICS TRAFFICKER ARRESTED


Elliot D. Broussard, 62 years of age, of Second Street in Morgan City, Louisiana, was arrested on January 14, 2026, at approximately 2:52 p.m.
Charges: Possession W.I.T.D - Cocaine
Possession W.I.T.D - Methamphetamine
Possession W.I.T.D - Fentanyl
Possession W.I.T.D - Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Transactions Involving Drug Proceeds
Violation of Uniform CDS Law
Hold for Probation and Parole
This investigation stemmed from multiple complaints alleging Mr. Broussard was selling illegal narcotics in the Morgan City area. Upon conclusion of the investigation, detectives obtained a narcotics search warrant for Mr. Broussard's residence. The search warrant was executed within approximately 2,000 feet of a local church, a posted drug-free zone. During the execution of the search warrant, the following items were located:
346 grams of methamphetamine
169 grams of marijuana
20 grams of crack cocaine
1 gram of fentanyl
Digital scales
Packaging materials
