Michael Anthony Noel Additionally Charged in Ongoing Rape Investigation

Chief Chad M. Adams announced that Michael Anthony Noel, 53, of Birch Street in Morgan City, has been additionally charged in connection with an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.

On January 21, 2026, at approximately 5:56 p.m., investigators obtained and executed an arrest warrant charging Noel with the following offenses:

Rape, Third Degree (4 counts)
Video Voyeurism (8 counts)
Sexual Battery (1 count)

According to investigators, an additional victim was identified during the investigation, linking Noel to four separate incidents of rape. Further evidence also resulted in charges of video voyeurism and sexual battery.

After gathering sufficient evidence, an arrest warrant was prepared and issued for the above charges. Noel, who has been incarcerated since September 2025, was formally booked on these additional charges into the Morgan City Jail, where he remains pending court proceedings.
