MCPD Arrest Report 10/16/2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 10/15/2020.

Harpheet Singh, 40 years of age, Address-Victor II Blvd, Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 10/15/2020 at 5:28 P.M.

Charge:
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Officers were called to the area of Federal Ave. and Brashear Ave. about an intoxicated individual causing a disturbance. Upon the officer's arrival, they came into contact with Singh Harpheet. Officers observed he was in an intoxicated condition. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Brennan Norton Skinner, 28 years of age, Address-Grace St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 10/16/2020 at 12:35 A.M.

Warrants:
Failure to Appear

Officers were called to an Oriole St. address for a disturbance. During the officer's investigation, they came into contact with Brennan N Skinner. A warrant check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jesse Blakeman, 26 years of age, Address-Cypress St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 10/14/2020 at 10:35 P.M.

Disturbing the Peace Fighting
Resisting Arrest or Officer

Officers were called to an address on Cypress St. for a disturbance. Upon the officer's arrival, they learned Jesse Blakeman was making threats and stuck an individual during an argument. When officers attempted to arrest him, he attempted to push away from arresting officers. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Robert Joseph Gussman III, 26 years of age, Address-Louisa St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 10/13/2020 at 12:31 P.M.

Fugitive:
Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office-Peeping Tom

Officers located Robert Joseph Gussman III at an address on LA Highway 70 and placed him under arrest on an outstanding warrant for Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
