MCPD Arrest Report 9/29/2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 55-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 9/28/2020.

Wendy Gros, 27 years of age, Address-Four Mile Bayou Road, Stephensville, LA., was arrested on 9/28/2020 at 1:47 P.M.

Wendy Gros turned herself into the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. She was booked and incarcerated.
Sheresa Bill
Sheresa M. Bill, 31 years of age, Address-First St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/28/2020 at 6:31 P.M.

Officers were called to a First St. address for an animal cruelty complaint. Upon the officer's arrival, they observed several marijuana plants on the window ledge inside the residence. Narcotics Detectives were called to the scene and obtained a search warrant for the address. Upon serving the search warrant investigators located Sheresa Bill inside the residence with several small children. Officers located four suspected marijuana plants, marijuana, drug paraphrenia, and several guns of which one of the firearms had the serial numbers obliterated and a shotgun that had been illegally modified. Investigators also located a large sum of money believed to be proceeds of the sales of illegal narcotics. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. The cruelty to an animal complaint is still under investigation with charges pending.

Darla R. Percle, 32 years of age, Address-Lambert Lane, Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/25/2020 at 8:45 A.M.

Darla R. Percle turned herself into the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant the Morgan City Police Department held. She was booked and incarcerated.
Donna Reed
Donna Sherrie Reed, 49 years of age, Address-Saturn St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 9/25/2020 at 5:46 P.M.

Charge:
Theft under $1,000.00

Officers were called to an address on Brashear Ave. for a complaint of a theft. Upon the officer's arrival, they learned Donna S. Reed committed a theft at the address valued at $130.60. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Casey Nicole Francois, 34 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/25/2020 at 6:41 P.M.

Officers were called to an address on Highway 182 to remove an individual from the property. Upon officer's arrival, the complainant advised they wanted Casey N. Francois removed from the property. A warrant check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for her arrest. She as placed under arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation in the area of Brashear Ave. and Victor II Blvd and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Destiny Dinger. A computer check revealed her driver's license was under suspension. During the traffic stop, she was found in possession of suspected marijuana and gabapentin. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Christopher Douglas, 23 years of age, Address-Wren St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/25/2020 at 11:19 P.M.

An officer on patrol came into contact with Christopher Douglas in the area of Highway 182 and Ditch Ave. A warrant check revealed City Court of Morgan City held and an active warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation in the area of Highway 182 and Brashear Ave. and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Tommie J. Chaisson and his passenger as Joseph Marie. A K-9 officer arrived on the scene and deployed K-9 "Lady" around the exterior of the vehicle. K-9 Lady gave and odor response to the presence of illegal narcotics. During the investigation, officers located suspect drug paraphernalia belonging to Tommie Chaisson. Joshua C. Marie was found in possession of stolen property out of Terrebonne Parish. Chaisson and Marie were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Garrett A White, 46 years of age, Address-Maple St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 9/26/2020 at 6:20 P.M.

An officer located Garrett White at an address on Highway 70 and placed him under arrest on an active warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A K-9 officer observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Railroad Ave. and Eleventh St. The driver was identified as Leo Vinning. A computer check revealed his driver's license was under suspension. During the traffic stop, Vinning was found in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Reva Shanna Thomas, 30 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/26/2020 at 10:36 P.M.

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 182 and came into contact with the driver Reva Shanna Thomas. Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotic and Investigation Unit investigated a complaint of illegal narcotic activity at an address on Highway 182. Upon Detective's arrival, they came into contact with Megan Archilla and Lawrence Garrett. During the investigation, they were found in possession of suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the presence of several children. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
