Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 114-calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 9/18/2020
Gage Landry, 26 years of age, Address-Jeff Davis, Rayne, LA., was arrested on 9/18/2020 at 3:08 P.M.

Narcotic Detectives with Morgan City Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 182. During the traffic stop, detectives identified the passenger as Gage Landry. He was found in possession of suspected marijuana. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Ashley Broussard Bourgeois, 34 years of age, Address-Three Bs Lane, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on 9/18/2020 at 9:56 P.M.

Officers were called to a Mallard St. about an individual causing a disturbance. Upon officer's arrival, they located Ashley B. Bourgeois standing in the street nude causing a disturbance. During the arrest, she failed to comply with officers. She was handcuffed and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Hebert Jermaine Brown, 37 years of age, Address-Egle St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on 9/19/2020 at 2:21 P.M.

James Darren Robinson, 52 years of age, Address-Eleventh St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/19/2020 at 2:12 P.M.

Officers were called to the area of Leona St. and Federal Ave. to investigate a vehicle crash. During the investigation, officers came into contact with Jermaine Brown Herbert, a driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, along with his passenger, James D. Robinson. A computer check revealed his driver's license was under suspension. An officer observed an open alcoholic beverage in his vehicle. A warrant check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for James D Robinson. He was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine and marijuana. Both Brown and Robinson were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Eric Spencer Gasksins, 49 years of age, Address-Apple St., Morgan City, LA., was arrested on 9/20/2020 at 11:59 A.M.

Officers were called to an address on Highway 182 for an individual trespassing on the property and causing a disturbance. Upon the officer's arrival, they came into contact with Eric S. Gaskins. Officers learned Gaskins was previously barred from the address and was causing a disturbance. When the officers attempted to arrest Gaskins he struck two of the officers, then fled on foot. Officers were able to apprehend Gaskins in the area of Grizzaffi St. He was found in possession of suspected synthetic marijuana. During the arrest, officers found Gaskin had a Stun Gun concealed on his person. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
