MCPD Arrest Report 2/14/2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/13/2020:

Crystal Bailey Duhn, 47 years of age, Address- Highway 182, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/13/2020 at 3:07 P.M.

Warrants: Failure to Appear (3 Counts)

Crystal Bailey Duhn was located at the Patterson Police Department and placed under arrest on active warrants held the City Court of Morgan City. She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Mary Griffin Wheat, 48 years of age, Address-Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, La., was arrested on 2/14/2020 at 2:10 A.M.

Charge: Improper Lane Usage  
               Possession of Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance (THC)

An officer observed a traffic violation on U.S. 90 in Morgan City. The Officer conducted a traffic stop, the driver was identified as Mary G. Wheat. St. Mary Sheriff's Office K-9 Buddy and his handler arrived on the scene to assist. During the traffic stop, K-9 Buddy was deployed on the exterior of the vehicle. K-9 Buddy indicated the presence of illegal narcotics. During the traffic investigation, the officer observed Wheat attempt to conceal an item. The item was recovered from Wheat and discovered to be a container with THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) edibles. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) products are illegal to poses in the State of Louisiana. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 38 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/12/2020:

Louella R. Taylor, 56 years of age, Address-Eleventh St., Morgan City, La., was arrested at 2/12/2020 at 7:30 A.M.

Charge: Driving Under Suspension

An officer observed a traffic violation in the area of Sixth St. and Brashear Ave. Upon conducting a traffic stop, the driver was identified as Louella Taylor. A computer check revealed Taylor's driver's license was under suspension. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

James Davonte Green, 26 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/12/2020 at 10:55 A.M.

Warrant: Domestic Abuse Battery

James Green who was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department was booked on an active warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department.
The warrant stems from a complaint filed with the Morgan City Police Department on February 2, 2020. During the investigation, it was determined Green had committed a battery on the victim. A warrant was obtained for his arrest stemming from the complaint filed with the Morgan City Police Department.

James Duhon III, 45 years of age, Address-Ricohoc Drive, Franklin, La., was arrested on 2/12/2020 at 8:56 P.M.

Warrants: Failure to Appear (2 Counts)

James Duhon III was located at the Patterson Police Department and placed under arrest on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Natasha Sylvester, 26 years of age, Address-James St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/11/2020 at 9:07 P.M.

Charge: Theft Under $1,000.00

Officers were called to a local business about a shoplifter. When officers arrived, they were advised by management they witnessed, Natasha Sylvester, concealing merchandise in her purse. Officers located several items of merchandise valued at $19.58 in Sylvester's purse. She was placed under arrest and transferred to Morgan Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Reginald Deshaun Webb, 36 years of age, Address-Orange St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/11/2020 at 10:20 P.M.

Warrants: Failure to Appear (2 Counts)

Reginald D. Webb was turned over to the Morgan City Police Department by a fugitive recovery agency on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incardinated at the Morgan City Police Department.

Martine Nicole Minor, 38 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Berwick, La., was arrested on 2/11/2020 at 11:50 P.M.

Warrant: Failure to Appear

Marine N. Minor was turned over to the Morgan City Police Department by a fugitive recovery agency on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. She was booked and incardinated at the Morgan City Police Department.
