MCPD Arrest Report 12/07/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 12/06/2017:
Jason J. Zimmerman, 31 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/06/2017 @ 4:55 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana W/I/T/D
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Violation of Uniform CDS Law
Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Fifth St. in regards to a complaint of narcotics activity. Officers arrived and Jason J. Zimmerman was identified. According to reports, Zimmerman was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Evidence was uncovered that the suspected marijuana was destined to be sold in illicit sales. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Zimmerman was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Trent H. Duhon, 23 years of age, address: Clarke Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/06/2017 @ 3:45 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Violation of a Protective Order
Warrant: Telephone Harassment
Trent H. Duhon was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 22, 2016, when they responded to the area of Brashear Ave. in regards to a telephone harassment complaint. Duhon was identified as a suspect in the investigation when he allegedly continuously contacted the victim which violated a protective order against him. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Duhon’s arrest. Duhon was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
David R. Brown, 53 years of age, address: Youngs Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/06/2017 @ 3:45 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation

David R. Brown was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active
arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s
Office. Brown was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Anthony I. Trouilliet, 42 years of age, address: Eighth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/06/2017 @ 9:14 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 06/01/2006
Anthony I. Trouilliet was located and arrested in the area of Eighth St. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Trouilliet was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jason Bailey, 40 years of age, address: Front St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/07/2017 @ 3:50 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 02/21/2017
Jason Bailey was located and arrested in the area of Sixth St. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bailey was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
