MCPD Arrest Report 12/08/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 12/07/2017:
Drake Wood, 17 years of age, address: Parro St. Berwick, La., arrested on 12/08/2017 @ 12:17 a.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Illegal Use of CDS in the presence of Juveniles
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner in the area of Roderick St. A stop was initiated and Drake Wood was identified as an occupant of the vehicle. According to reports, Wood was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. There were two juveniles in the vehicle. Wood was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
