MCPD Arrest Report 05/01/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 49 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 04/30/2018:
Milton B. Green Jr., 31 years of age, address: Willow St. Franklin, La., arrested on 04/30/2018 @ 7:04 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Possession of SCH I CDS (Synthetic Marijuana)
Milton B. Green Jr. was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on May 10, 2017, when officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a removal of a subject. Officers arrived and Milton B. Green Jr. was identified. According to reports, Green was found to be in possession of suspected Synthetic Marijuana. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Green’s arrest. Green was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Kayla Woods, 28 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 04/30/2018 @ 9:30 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Disturbing the Peace
Kayla Woods was located and arrested in the area of Fifth St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Berwick Police Department. Woods was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Hunter M. Breaux, 23 years of age, address: Renee St. Belle River, La., arrested on 04/30/2018 @ 1:13 p.m.
Charges: Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile
On April 29, 2018 investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division began an investigation in regards to a runaway juvenile. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that Breaux may know the whereabouts of the juvenile. Investigators executed numerous search warrants on the social media accounts belonging to the juvenile and located sexually explicit pictures of Breaux and the juvenile that Breaux had sent the juvenile. During interviews with Breaux, he allegedly admitted to his involvement with the juvenile that all occurred outside of the Morgan City Police Department Jurisdiction. Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation. Warrants were prepared for Breaux’s arrest. Breaux was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. The investigation is still ongoing.
Robert Norris, 28 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 04/30/2018 @ 8:37 p.m.
Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery

Jessica L. Fears, 33 years of age, address: Roderick St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 04/30/2018 @ 8:37 p.m.
Charges: Domestic Abuse-Aggravated Assault

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Robert Norris and Jessica Fears were identified. According to reports, Norris and Fears were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. Allegedly Norris committed a battery on Fears. Fears also allegedly threatened Norris with a Knife during the altercation. The duo was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
