MCPD Arrest Report 06/25/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 118 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/21/2018:
Jesus Aurelio Ramirez Hernandez, 25 years of age, address: Barrow St. Amelia, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 12:59 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 12/11/2013
Jesus Aurelio Ramirez Hernandez was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial Court. Hernandez was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Jeremy T. Coleman, 32 years of age, address: First St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 7:57 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 05/08/2018 (2 counts)
Jeremy T. Coleman was located and arrested in the area of First St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Coleman was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Bryan L. Lewandowski, 52 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 10:19 a.m.

Bryan L. Lewandowski was located and arrested in the area of Hwy 182 on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. When taking Lewandowski into custody he was found to be in possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The warrants from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on June 06, 2018 when officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a narcotics complaint. Lewandowski was identified and was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. The area where the incident had taken place was found to be in a Drug-Free Zone. Lewandowski was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Ronald Picou 52 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 10:59 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 05/22/2018 (2 counts)
Ronald Picou was located and arrested in the area of Federal Ave. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City, Police. Picou was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Burkin J. Dupre, 32 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 1:26 p.m.

Burkin J. Dupre was located and arrested in the area of Leona St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Dupre was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Arik M. Louviere, 23 years of age, address: Wytchwood Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 2:20 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Possession of Marijuana

Warrant: Improper Turning
Arik M. Louviere was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division when Louviere was identified as the operator of a vehicle that had negotiated an improper turn in the area of Chestnut Dr. Louviere’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Louviere was also found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Louviere’s arrest. Louviere was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Joshua Bertrand, 40 years of age, address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 4:13 p.m.

Joshua Bertrand was located and arrested in the area of Levee Rd. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bertrand was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jose J. Almaraz, 25 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 4:34 p.m.
Charges: No Driver’s License
Disregard of Traffic Controls
Patrol officers observed a vehicle disregard a traffic control in the area of Clothilde St. A stop was initiated when Jose J. Almaraz was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Almaraz was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Almaraz was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Gerald A. Sylvester, 29 years of age, address: Short St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/23/2018 @ 1:35 p.m.
Charges: Simple Battery
Correctional Officers with the Morgan City Jail responded to the cell block in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and observed Gerald A. Sylvester striking another inmate. Sylvester was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail.
Tressa Z. Womack, 36 years of age, address: Craver Dr. New Roads, La., arrested on 06/23/2018 @ 8:58 a.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 03/23/2016
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a narcotics complaint. Officers arrived when Tressa Z. Womack was identified. K-9 Lady with the Morgan City Police Department K-9 Division was utilized and alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics. Womack was found to be in possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Womack was also found to hold active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward and 16th Judicial Courts. Womack was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Troy M. Aucoin, 18 years of age, address: Guidry St. Berwick, La., arrested on 06/22/2018 @ 9:18 p.m.

Garrett Daigle, 33 years of age, address: Patton St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/24/2018 @ 5:45 p.m.
Charges: Simple Battery
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Patrol officers responded to the area of Patton St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Garrett Daigle was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Daigle was found to be in an intoxicated state. Allegedly Daigle struck the victim during the altercation. Daigle was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
