MCPD Arrest Report 07/26/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 57 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 07/25/2018:
Rose M. Harwell, 39 years of age, address: Clearance St. Mountain View, AR., arrested on 07/25/2018 @ 9:06 a.m.
Charges: Theft under $1,000

Charles E. Ferguson, 44 years of age, address: Oak St. Mountain View, AR., arrested on 07/25/2018 @ 9:06 a.m.

Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility
Possession of Marijuana
Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a shoplifter. Officers arrived when Rose M. Harwell and Charles E. Ferguson were identified. According to reports, Harwell and Ferguson allegedly took items valued at $41.25 without paying for them. Harwell and Ferguson were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail. Once at the Morgan City Jail Ferguson was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. Harwell and Ferguson were booked and incarcerated.
Johnny Deberry, 62 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/25/2018 @ 7:28 p.m.
Charges: Simple Assault
Patrol officers responded to the area of Fourth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Johnny Deberry was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Deberry allegedly brandished a knife during a verbal altercation and threatened the victim. Evidence was uncovered linking Deberry to the crime. Deberry was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Ronald D. Wildebrandt, 52 years of age, address: Grande Maison Mandeville, La., arrested on 07/25/2018 @ 11:41 p.m.
Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 2nd Offense
Improper Lighting
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with improper lighting. A stop was initiated when Ronald D. Wildebrandt was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Wilderbrandt was found to be in an intoxicated state. Wilderbrandt performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Wilderbrandt was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he refused to submit to. Wilderbrandt was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Samouree E. O. Randle, 30 years of age, address: General Patton St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/26/2018 @ 2:34 a.m.
Charges: Flight from an Officer

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 in an erratic manner. Officers attempted to initiate a stop when the vehicle continued to travel several blocks, stopping in the area of General Patton St. Samouree E. O. Randle was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Craig O. Robinson was identified as an occupant. According to reports, Robinson provided officers with a false name upon initial contact. Robinson was found to be in possession of a firearm. A Records check indicates that Robinson was a convicted felon which prohibits him from possessing a firearm. Randle and Robinson were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
