MCPD Arrest Report 08/14/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 08/13/2018:
A’Dontay R. Owens, 20 years of age, Address-Railroad St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 08/14/2018 @ 1:52 am.
Charge: Resisting an Officer-False Information
Warrant-Failure to Appear
Officers responded to the area of Federal and Brashear Ave in regards to an individual identified as A’Dontay Owens who possibly held an active warrant for the 16th Judicial District Court. Officers were able to locate the individual, who initially gave officers a false name. Officers determined Owens true identity and confirmed the active warrant. Owens was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
