MCPD Arrest Report 09/21/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 57 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/20/2018:
Terry L. Lewis, 55 years of age, Address New Iberia, La. was arrested on 09/20/2018 @ 10:54 am.
Charge: Improper Lane Usage
Driving Under Suspension
An officer in the area of LA Hwy 182 near Everett St. observed a vehicle swerving in and out of the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Terry Lewis was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A computer check revealed that Lewis’ driver’s license was suspended. Lewis was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Patricia V. Thomas, 46 years of age, Address- Bowman St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/20/2018 @ 10:11 am.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
Patricia Thomas was located in the area of Marshall St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant she held for the 16th Judicial District Court. Thomas was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gregory Free, 34 years of age, Address- Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/20/2018 @ 3:11 pm.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Fines (2cts)
Gregory Free was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6th Ward City Court. Free was booked and incarcerated.
