MCPD Arrest Report 09/27/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/26/2018:
Jonathon D. Hopper, 38 years of age, Address- Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/26/2018 @ 11:09 am.
Charge: Simple Assault
Officers responded to a residence on Belanger St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, the victim stated that she and Jonathan Hopper were having a verbal altercation. During the altercation, Hopper made threats to the victim. Hopper was located inside the home, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
