MCPD Arrest Report 10/01/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 146 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 09/28/2018:
Ryan N. Boudreaux, 23 years of age, Address- Louisa St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/28/2018 @ 7:08 am.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana

An officer in the area of Sixth St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Ryan Boudreaux was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. During the course of the investigation, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Keith J. Lamaire, 56 years of age, Address- Dale St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/28/2018 @ 9:05 am.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Return Leased Merchandise
Keith Lamaire was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the department. Lamaire was booked and incarcerated.
Kurtis J. Wesley, 34 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/28/2018 @ 10:56 am.
Charge: Warrant-Theft under $1000.00
Kurtis Wesley was located on Railroad Ave. and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident on September 10th that alleges Wesley had stolen items out of a residence. Wesley was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Shelby J. Gautreau Jr, 63 years of age, Address-Gonzales, La. was arrested on 09/28/2018 @ 7:56 pm.
Charge: Reckless Operation of a Vehicle
Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
Officers responded to LA Hwy 70 on the grounds of Lake End Park in regards to a vehicle that had crashed into a pole. Officers arrived and made contact with the driver, Shelby Gautreau. Gautreau sustained no injuries from the crash. Reports indicate that the officer could smell alcohol emitting from Gautreau’s breath. Gautreau was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, in which he performed poorly. Gautreau was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the department, Gautreau submitted to the chemical test for intoxication and his results yielded a .142g% blood alcohol content. Gautreau was booked and incarcerated.
Abram M. Granger, 19 years of age, Address-Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/29/2018 @ 3:33 pm.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana 3rd Offense

Violation of Uniform CDS-Drug Free Zone
Officers responded to a residence on Wren St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and made contact with an individual identified as Abram Granger. Granger was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Also, the area Granger was located is considered a drug free zone. Granger was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Kayla N. Morin, 29 years of age, Address-Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/29/2018 @ 7:52 pm.

Kayla Morin was located by officers on Belanger St. A warrant check revealed that she held an active warrant for the Berwick Police Department. While trying to place Morin under arrest, she began to resist, but she was later subdued. Morin was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gaudencio Martinez-Villa, 28 years of age, Address-Roselawn Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/29/2018 @ 9:57 pm.

An officer on Roderick St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Gaudenico Martinez-Villa was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A computer check revealed that Martinez-Villa did not have a valid driver’s license. Martinez-Villa was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Guillermo Candanedo-Tejeda, 38 years of age, Address-Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/30/2018 @ 10:27 am.

An officer on LA Hwy 182 observed a vehicle with improper lighting, a vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Guillermo Cadanedo-Tejeda was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. It was determined that Cadanedo-Tejeda did not have a valid driver’s license. Cadanedo-Tejeda was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alexis Melendez-Davilia, 31 years of age, Address- Robin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/30/2018 @ 1:09 pm.

A patrol officer observed a vehicle fail to use a turning signal while changing lanes on US HWY 90. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Alexis Melendez-Davilia was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. During the course of the investigation, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. Melendez-Davilia was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Gerardo Santiago-Garcia, 37 years of age, Address-Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/30/2018 @ 1:09 pm.

Gerardo Santiago-Garcia was located on LA Hwy 182 and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in May that alleges Santiago-Garcia stole 15 sacks of crawfish from a local business. Officers also located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Santiago-Garcia possession. Santiago-Garcia was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jonathan Ashley, 30 years of age, Address-Ninth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/30/2018 @ 9:40 pm.
Charge: Theft under $1000
Officers responded to a local business on LA Hwy 182 in regards to a shoplifter. Officers arrived and were given a description of the individual, who had left prior to their arrival. Officers were able to locate the individual fitting the description walking on LA Hwy 182 and he was identified as Jonathan Ashley. According to reports, Ashley admitted to the theft. Ashely was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Eddie R. Sanchez, 27 years of age, Address- Oriole St Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/30/2018 @ 11:30 pm.
Charge: Warrant-Parole Violation
Eddie Sanchez was located on Brashear Ave. A warrant check revealed that he held an active warrant with state of Arizona Department of Corrections. Sanchez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Ashton K. Ainsworth, 28 years of age, Address- Labadieville, La. was arrested on 10/01/2018 @ 1:32 am.

Officers came into contact with Ashton Ainsworth in the area of Louisa St. Ainsworth was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Ainsworth was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
