Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 45 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 02/20/2019:
Darius Brown, 40 years of age, Address-Clements St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 02/20/2019 @ 6:28 am.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Probation Fees
Warrant-Failure to Appear for Trial
Darius Brown was located on LA Hwy 70 and placed under arrest for active warrants he held for the City Court of Morgan City. Brown was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Anthony W. Kandare Jr. 20 years of age, Address-Edgewater, MD was arrested on 02/20/2019 @ 11:02 am.
Charge: Simple Burglary
Officers responded to a business on Brashear Ave. in regards to an individual burglarizing a vehicle. Officers were able to locate the suspect, Anthony Kandare on Willard St. Kandare was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Joshua W. Lewis, 33 years of age, Address-Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/20/2019 @ 3:58 pm.
Charge: Warrant Probation Violation
Warrant-Failure to Pay Fines (8cts)
Joshua Lewis was transported from the Terrebonne Parish Detention Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the City Court of Morgan City. Lewis was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Offensive Language

Skylor Cole was the driver of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop in the area of LA Hwy 182 near Martin Luther King Blvd. A computer check revealed Cole’s license was suspended. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Harley Arnaud. During the course of the traffic stop, suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located. Cole and Arnaud were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Darell J. Gash, 38 years of age, Address-Willard St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/20/2019 @ 8:40 am.
