MCPD Arrest Report 2/28/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 34 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 2/27/2019:
Stephanie Ann Steward, 41 years of age, Address-Terrebonne St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/27/2019 @ 3:12 P.M.
Charge: Hit and Run
Officers were dispatched to a crash. Upon officers arrived they learned one of the vehicles had left the scene. Officers searched the area and later located the vehicle and driver, Stephanie A Steward. She admitted to officers she was the driver at the time of the accident and left the scene. She was arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Quincy James Johnson, 25 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 2/27/2019 @ 4:25 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Fines (7 Counts)
Quincy J Johnson was located at the Patterson Police Department. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Robert John Skipper, 38 years of age, Address-Dora St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/27/2019 @ 8:22 P.M.
Charge: No Driver’s License

Jerroid Jermaine Garrison, 26 years of age, Address-Federal Ave., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 2/27/2019 @ 8:22 P.M.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana
Officers of the Morgan City Police Department conducted a traffic stop on HWY 182 for a traffic violation. Robert J. Skipper was identified as the driver. Upon running a computer check it was learned Skipper did not have a valid driver’s license. During the traffic stop, Jerroid Jermaine Garrison was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. Officers located both Skipper and Garrison in possession of marijuana during the traffic stop. They were both placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
