Desmond Jerrod Richard, 37 years of age, Address-Mike Dr., Patterson, La., was arrested 3/25/2019 @ 12:05 P.M.

Colby Tyrese Nicholas, 19 years of age, Address-Wren St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/25/2019 @ 2:29 P.M.

An Officer came into contact with Colby T. Nicholas on Egle St. Upon conducting a warrants check, it was revealed active warrants held by Morgan City Police Department and 16th District Court. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Rebecca Martin, 47 years of age, Address-Fifth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/25/2019 @ 2:53 P.M.
Charge: Remaining After Forbidden
An officer responded to a Willow St. residence in reference to a person refusing to leave the property. Officers learned from the homeowner, Rebecca Martin, came to their residence and was refusing to leave. Martin was given several opportunities to leave the residence but refused to leave. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jonathan Jermaine Motte, 35 years of age, Address-Oak St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/25/2019 @ 5:04 P.M.
Charge: Resisting an Officer
Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)
Possession of Methamphetamine (2 grams to 28 grams)
Violation of Uniform CDS Law-Drug Free Zone
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Introduction of contraband into a Penal Facility
An officer patrolling Egle St. came into contact with Jonathan J. Motte on Morgan City Housing Authority property. While officers were speaking to Motte the officer noticed Motte was holding a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana. When officers attempted to arrest Motte, he pulled away and began fleeing the arresting officer. While Motte was eluding the officer he attempted to discard the suspect marijuana. He was taken into custody by the pursuing officer. During the search of Motte's person, suspected drug paraphernalia was located. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking. Once at Morgan City Police Department Officers located a bag containing suspected Methamphetamines he had concealed on his body. Motte was booked and incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department.
Gregory Warren Ballance, 20 years of age, Address-Bernice St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 3/26/2019 @ 3:34 A.M.
