MCPD Arrest report for 04/17/2019

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 40 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 04/16/2019:

Guadalupe Maldonado,64 years of age, Grove St., Morgan City, La was arrested on 04/16/2019 @ 7:16 pm

Charges: Warrant- Stop Sign Violation

Tammy Fitch, 58 years of age, Kidd St, Patterson, La was arrested on 04/16/2019 @ 7:16 pm

Charges: Warrant FTA to pay probation fee for Disturbing the Peace

An officer in the area of 5th St saw a female subject he knew to have warrants through MCPD.  The officer verified the warrant and the owner of the vehicle and stopped the vehicle.  The officer identified Tammy Fitch and Guadalupe Maldonado as the subjects in the vehicle.  Both subjects were found to have warrants from MCPD and were placed under arrest.  


Walter Banegas-Portillo,22 years of age, Village Lane, Morgan City, La was arrested at 7:59 pm on 04/16/2019

Portillo was arrested at MCPD for warrants from the City Court of Morgan City.  Portillo was booked into the city jail on warrants for FTA for trial and to pay fines


Slade Landry, 20 years of age, Boo St, Pierre Part, La was arrested on 04/16/2019 @ 11:37 pm
 
Charges: Hold for Thibodaux PD

An officer on Hwy 182 saw a vehicle with no tail lights, the officers stopped the vehicle and identified Slade Landry as the driver.  Landry was found to have warrants from the Thibodaux Police Department.  Landry was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
